    Did this trek myself way back in 2011 or so. I used Aron's book and online maps to plan my route. Seems like I accessed from farther up the canyon than you did and there were definitely some tricky parts to navigate. Found Aron's rock and the spot kind of creeped me out with how remote it was and just knowing what happened there. I went to complete the canyon portion to the dropoff but that section of the canyon was completely dark and quite a bit of standing water. Called it a day and headed back out of the canyon at that point to make sure I got back to the car before it got dark. To this day one of the more memorable adventures I've undertaken.

      I believe the one on top in the thumb nail. I compared it with a photo online of Aron at the rock and I think it's the one. It's been so long since he was there that the area looks different because of all the water that has washed through bringing more rocks and changing the level of dirt in the bottom etc. For example the words he carved in the wall are completely gone.

    Does any part of the trail you went on as showed thru the west fork to Arson's point require steep risky rocks ascending or descending and does it require walking straddle on rocks high above the ground ( i noticed you did that in your video) or is it possible to squeeze thru crevices just walking on the ground ?

    • @globalvagrant1392
      @globalvagrant1392  Рік тому +1

      There was one part where u had to drop down. If you are savy at climbing it was no big deal to get back up. It's in the video on the hike down. Once u are at the slot canyon its pretty much just walking through. Some bolders are in the slot u might have to go around or over but it wasn't anything intense.
