I built an expert to run 2 different variations of the supertrend strategy. Then I ran the same test as the original publisher plus an extended test on multiple symbols for each.

I find most of these strategy review videos utilizing TV data/tools don't account for the Bid-Ask Spread, which, as you point out, drastically skews results to be more favorable than they actually are. Another excellent video!
If you really want to have fun try the MACD strategy on TV and compare regular candles to HA candles

I tried coding this particular strategy into an EA yesterday. I created 3 similar Supertrend's, but each with different values then I loaded them into the EA using the 'resource'(#resource) method you taught us in your previous video's. The results I got back were decent. Maybe with other confluences the strategy could be improved ? I also added a trailing stop which made the results slightly better. Thank you for this video !
Can you please create a tutorial on how to build a smiliar code to this Expert? The way I structured my code gave me 2 warnings.

indicator strategies usually try to enter at the beginning of a trend, but it may not be a trend. Something that waits a while for a confirmation might be better.
@@OrchardForex There was a suggestion from one of the tutorials to open position only when all 3 ST changes direction at the same candle. It increases the probability of entering at trend start. I would like to go a step further, generate signal at first and then wait for a retrace / StochRSI makes a trough (for LongPosition).

Is there any function buit in mql4 to tell us, if the Symbol is Forex, CFD, or Futures? I need to check the lot size before send the order, but it seems that Indices ( CFD ) is quite tricky.

hello sir , I have suggestions why not write a program who will work only on the person who sign up for my broker affiliate link, the program will check if the account is create using my affiliate link and it will allowed the account to use the program who can be an indicator or EA , second sugesstion for this EA why not add daily target the EA will stop trading after reaching daily loss target or profit target after some number of trade; the program will check the daily start balance and it will able to know after two or three trade the loss or profit
1. I already have an application that will only trade on accounts attached to my IB, that's what I use for limited expert giveaways.
2. I'll consider it if I come back to this one.
