The camber on the front suspension is so wrong. Going positive under load on the corners is going to lead to either the outside wheel digging in (a possibility to roll the car) and or breaking the suspension itself. The geometry needs some serious work.

This is a cool build. There are several peeps in these comment threads who had been repeatedly telling you precisely what you discovered in due time. Looks like you’re on the right “track”. Depending on how hard you want to hit your obstacles, you’re gonna need to build the hell out of your suspension. Yes ride height is pivotal, but you need waaaay more suspension articulation. Way more travel before you start dialing in your compression, rebound, etc. As you don’t have four wheel drive, you need momentum to carry you over and thru obstacles. I’d look for a salvaged ZR2 that you can work with. You can build the hell out of that platform.
@@MyNameisStorm For sure, although common sense should have told them this was nowhere near ready for jumping. They are capable of making this thing as badass as they want to. I understand what you mean, however I will just point out gravity works at the same rate no matter what your velocity is. @@douglaspealing5608 Momentum = mass x velocity. It makes a huge difference because that momentum is carried into the ground. You can see the car travel in a downward arc, then nose in and rebound. The upper spring NEVER moved. Something must be assembled wrong. Get some suspension seats too. And... you should not mix pain killers with alcohol.
Agreed on most, but those Corbeau seats ARE suspension seats, and suspension seats are actually worse for racing than shell seats. There's a reason race trucks have shell seats, not suspension seats. "Rides really good at high speed"... yes that's because it's sitting on the ground. (replied before seeing the whoop section.. but went exactly as I expected, badly.)
There are 2 problems with the vehicle. 1. The front is heavier so after it takes off it doesn't maintain the trajactory or angle that it launched. 2. The test you did by forklift is invalid. When the vehicle takes off at a high speed, the from wheels lands first making it a pivot and the back wheels slam at a much higher force than that you simulated with the forklift. Although the distribution of force with that additional impact point sure helps.

Please please PLEEEEEAAAASE do a garage update on all the cars!
OMG my heart sank so hard when I heard Oscar in the car. Get well soon!!!!
9:45 I ALWAYS thought that it would have a much, much higher ride hight. like a Baja-truck. otherwise I could never be a "Jumpacan" - wasn't that already clear, when it sat in the garage? I don't get it...
otherwise, car & footage looks great! congrats!
The Mint footage is a Mad Max / Tron mashup, love it, gorgeous.
I hope you are feeling better Oscar and make a good recovery. I honestly can't wait to see that single seater race car apocalypse build that started a while ago.
You need to keep Oscar safe, your channel can't function without him.
Did you finally get the red Supra here?
cant race offroad with 8 inches of ground clearance
lol
Thank god Oscars ok. Deff care about the guy. Stay safe!
I saw that hill and thought "Don't Do It!" Now you owe Oscar some major kudos, for riding with you! ;)
That drone footage was awesome! Great work. Also, thanks for the update on all the builds and timelines. It's easy to complain about things when you don't actually know what's going on!
Still love the fact that he rocks an LZMFG steering wheel
This is why women live longer than men lol our "let's just send it" mentality lmao hope you heal back to 100% quickly Oscar beat wishes bud
Agreed. Why for thousands of years men have thrown sharp things and boulders at eachother on fields. But eh.. we are close to having a real world Lamborghini desert racer
It's disappointing that this thing is still so low to the ground and still those mall crawler wheels. :(
if u watch the full vid he says he raised it and is raising it even more so?
@@shook8331 I'm not exactly sure how to answer your question.
@@NegussugeN you said you're dissapointed that it's still so low? he addresses that he's gonna fix that issue?
Oscar get better my dude I've had back surgery for replaced disks hope u dont have to go down that road.. Good luck with the build too
So as this is the last video (as of watching today) about the Jumpacan, I'd like to tell you that I've watched the entire Jumpacan build in two days. Its amazing how you built it step by step, giving us a detailed explanation about everything that's going on. Also, Oscar is a pretty dang talented man. Hope he recovers a 100%
Time to watch the R34 build!
