I was a biology major in college, so I'll give you a legit explanation on a realistic possibility. I think it just depends on the chapter's apothecaries. It's likely they do keep their sex organs because they produce testosterone which is an essential hormone for keeping energy, aggression, and other shit. Though considering how our modern anabolic and androgenic steroids affect the male sex organs by shutting them down, it's entirely possible they shut down. Now since progenoids don't exist in our world, there's no scientific evidence to suggest gene-seed and other Astartes organs would shrivel their balls the same way something like Tren or other androgenics would. We know that gene-seed makes every tissue in the body grow, so it's likely their sex organs grow as well and they could possibly work if we're discounting the other chem-gelding processes in turning a boy into an Astartes. GW has never given official canon on this, and it's likely they never will. Though having read the Lukas the Trickster book, he almost seems to imply he's getting action. I personally just think it depends on certain chapters and it's possible but doesn't really happen since Astartes are autistic murder monks that would see no reason in doing so since they can't even reproduce sexually. Salamanders and Space Wolves seem like they possibly could have sex...whilst chapters like the Black Templars are so batshit crazy and religious that the idea never crosses their minds. To sum it all up, I don't think they're castrated, but I think only certain chapters could have sex. Namely the Emperor's Children, Space Wolves, and possibly Salamanders.

I think that, between the first founding chapters the most likely to allow their battle brothers to have sex would be the Salamander, Space Wolwes and MAYBE the Ultramarines... I think in the very first book of the Horus Heresy the Rememberancer with the odd head was looking at Lorkan and quietly lamenting to herself that such a perfect specimen of a man was such a waste. I think the Geneseed simply reroutes that energy towards things like honor and battle. Slaanesh normally doesn't try to seduce the space marines with hot thots though, he/she normally seems to go after their desire for glory. I think there is an entire section of the Slaanesh palace realm dedicated to the seduction of entities through vainglory. I think the Emps would have wanted them to keep their testosterone as he doesn't want soprano voiced choir bois as soldiers. I think the more interesting question would be are the gene mods and the effects of the additional organs heritable? Were I in Guillimon's position I'd see the value in making sons even if I were not wired that way artificially. Testicles produce testosterone. Testosterone is good for male development, increasing muscle strength and bone density. If the Astartes were nutless they would have serious combat liabilities. Removing the mental desire for sex would defiantly be the way they would have gone about things. My guess is that the libido function of the brain is cut or removed to make room for other brain augmentations. As for the penis it's self, there's no need to mess with it, it'll be waist disposal and removing it to set up an alternative would be an expense in resources and a complication. I'm curious if that organ is increased in size or if it's just left alone. It'll still do waist disposal big or small, and that's all it is to an Astartes.
Astartes' inability to procreate has destroyed my fandom of them, which had developed over the last few months since my introduction to Warhammer 40k. RIP Astartes. You were almost the perfect power fantasy.
I also think the Salamanders would have a lot of advances made on them by the civilians and guardsmen they rescue who are craving some “glad to be alive” naughty stuff. Whether or not the Salamanders have the drive to take the grateful civilians up of their advances is another story, but since the Salamanders are really insistent on keeping as much of their humanity as possible, and sex drive is considered to be a big part of what makes us human, I wouldn’t be surprised if they skipped the part of the induction that removes the sex drive, and are willing to take up the grateful civilians on their “offer”.

I was a biology major in college, so I'll give you a legit explanation on a realistic possibility. I think it just depends on the chapter's apothecaries. It's likely they do keep their sex organs because they produce testosterone which is an essential hormone for keeping energy, aggression, and other shit. Though considering how our modern anabolic and androgenic steroids affect the male sex organs by shutting them down, it's entirely possible they shut down. Now since progenoids don't exist in our world, there's no scientific evidence to suggest gene-seed and other Astartes organs would shrivel their balls the same way something like Tren or other androgenics would. We know that gene-seed makes every tissue in the body grow, so it's likely their sex organs grow as well and they could possibly work if we're discounting the other chem-gelding processes in turning a boy into an Astartes. GW has never given official canon on this, and it's likely they never will. Though having read the Lukas the Trickster book, he almost seems to imply he's getting action. I personally just think it depends on certain chapters and it's possible but doesn't really happen since Astartes are autistic murder monks that would see no reason in doing so since they can't even reproduce sexually. Salamanders and Space Wolves seem like they possibly could have sex...whilst chapters like the Black Templars are so batshit crazy and religious that the idea never crosses their minds. To sum it all up, I don't think they're castrated, but I think only certain chapters could have sex. Namely the Emperor's Children, Space Wolves, and possibly Salamanders.
On a more fluff perspective, the human form is seen as holy by those who follow the Emperor (Mechanicum exempt) so doing something that would destroy a fundamental facet of humanity like sexual attraction would be heresy.
I think that, between the first founding chapters the most likely to allow their battle brothers to have sex would be the Salamander, Space Wolwes and MAYBE the Ultramarines... I don't see chapters like the Blood Angels let their Astartes get in some love, mainly for the fear theid go berserker in the midle of the act, Imperial Fist are to strict, Raven Guard to emo, Iron Hands had that thing of "flesh is weak" nonsense, Dark Angels... yeeeeeaaah... nop, White Skars... maaaaayyyybe, I can't tell honestly.

i think the size of their pee pee is normal human average size, i say this because since its an organ thats not affected in any way by the enhancement it remaings the same size as the pee pee of a normal human being. so it could be big by normal human standards but by astartes size they are very small.

I think in the very first book of the Horus Heresy the Rememberancer with the odd head was looking at Lorkan and quietly lamenting to herself that such a perfect specimen of a man was such a waste. I think the Geneseed simply reroutes that energy towards things like honor and battle. Slaanesh normally doesn't try to seduce the space marines with hot thots though, he/she normally seems to go after their desire for glory. I think there is an entire section of the Slaanesh palace realm dedicated to the seduction of entities through vainglory. I think the Emps would have wanted them to keep their testosterone as he doesn't want soprano voiced choir bois as soldiers. If the Flood from Halo were in the Warhammer 40k galaxy at the edge of Imperium of Man's territories and start with a few Forerunner military ships like a Fortress Class Dreadnought how would they go about on their campaign against the Miliky Way what tactics would they use and who and where would they hit first to begin their new conquest? With some Forerunner technology at the start would they become a massive threat to the Warhammer 40k galaxy because of how powerful Forerunner ships would be and the fact that they are pretty fast and huge where they could hit anywhere at anytime. Perhaps they may even set up some shipyards and facilities to keep producing Forerunner ships for their campaign.

I used to tell my friend that space marines were eunuchs and he would get so bent out of shape...I really gave some similar arguments that you gave here. My guess is that the libido function of the brain is cut or removed to make room for other brain augmentations.
