Love the info about the Braptor that’s off the beaten path. I’ve seen about every other Bronco Raptor video (can’t believe I have any drool left). Great vid!
That’s exactly why I made this video. I’ve been watching all the other BRaptor video’s too and when I finally got mine I wondered why no one else was talking about these things. I figure it’s probably because they don’t daily drive a bronco so they don’t notice all the differences.
The plastic Silver cover on the bumper is made to be removed quickly, if you notice it uses pushpins, you remove it go off Roading scratching your bumper up and then you replace the silver plastic piece and you can’t see the scratches the lower skid plate is aluminum so when you scratch it it doesn’t show up as well
Love my Shadow Black Big Bend with metal bumper and push bar with hard top four door. I added trail armor all around, rock sliders, hood scoop and mud flaps, fog lights with several other custom touches. American Racing chrome rims really pay homage to the classic 60s and 70s Bronco on my particular model. I had so much fun ordering from Rich Ford in Albuquerque as well as after market custom touches from Goodfellas Custom in Albuquerque.
Good point, the front and rear fenders are a lot different than the regular broncos, and they do add a little bit to the width. They are different enough that the Raptor tail lights won't fit on a regular bronco.
I'd really like to see how the rear brace and the center brace attaches to the roll bar. It adds a lot of rigidity to the cage and I'd like to build my own.
Awesome stuff! I love seeing this kind of content on the Broncos! Where abouts are ya? I run Gold Country Bronco in NorCal and dabble on UA-cam as well for some Bronco and Jeep stuff. Hitting up Bronco Safari this year as well. If you're there, we should connect!
I found it interesting that the manual calls out the instrument cluster on my Gen 6 Bronco as what appears to be in the Raptor, for any trims with the 12” display. However, we all know that only the Raptor got the instrument cluster that I believe is much nicer. 🤔
@@4x4ranch If you look the Owner’s Manual, Visual Search, Instrument Panel, B- See Instrument Cluster Overview- Vehicles With: 8 Inch Screen, Excluding: Raptor. This will show the cluster we are all familiar with (outside the Raptor) on all trims/options on the Bronco. The next page, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OVERVIEW - RAPTOR, VEHICLES WITH: 12 INCH SCREEN shows the other cluster that we have seen is only available on the Raptor. This is what leads me to believe that this was the intended cluster for any Bronco equipped with a “High” package or higher. 🤔
@@Carl-vx9ws yes theynwere supposed to get the full digital cluster from the get go but due to supply chain issues that didnt happen. Some people say it was a lux thing while others say high. Stitched dash pad like seen on the new 24 Badlands is another lux pack feature that got scrapped
The body isn’t wider itself. The top, tail gate and doors are the same, the hood is different but the same dimensions. The fenders mount the same but are bumped out a little more and the flares attach to it completely differently.
Bro I got both of these but been divorced twice if I could find a good woman I would give up everything I don’t know if they exist anymore @@boboso4978
Technically, I focused on details that I hadn’t seen in any other reviews. There are a lot of videos talking about the drivetrain differences. Check out our under chassis video, we show the chassis differences there.
I'm loving the look of the new Raptor Bronco!
I have watched a lot of reviews, but this was a great in depth comparison. Well done!
Thanks, be sure to check out our video looking at the chassis and suspension! We found a lot of stuff there that no one had mentioned too!

The fenders on the Raptor are different too. Wider and differently shaped.

Great vid. Details were great.
Excellent video! Liked and subbed

We could definitely do a video on that!

We are signed up for the Bronco Safari too! We are in MN/ND so it’s a long drive there but we love Moab!
Thanks for the review, would you happen to know the backspacing on the bronco raptor wheels?

That’s odd, what year is your bronco?

Why didn’t you add the bead lock to the spare?
Did not know that we a cover on the raptor.. I want the raptor skidplate on my badlands... are they interchangeable?
Is the body actually wider than the Bronco? Will the fenders Hood Etc interchange?

The original broncos said ford on the grill also.
The Raptor's performance is great, the styling looks rushed and clumsy to me.
Yes, lets talk about the differences in two cars that most people cannot afford, nor acquire.

Yes let's talk about a 2016 Chevy Spark, a car almost everyone can afford and get no views because nobody really cares about a 2016 Chevy Spark...

I’ll keep my 1970 bronco that I’ve had for 30 years, it’s blue
It seems that you focused on the treatment and missed the main point. What about the engine, gearbox, suspensions, shock absorbers and more.

The raptor is so ugly the best looking bronco is the base one want a raptor get a f150 raptor
