damn it myron, i was really wanting a better look at marlene, even tho they matched "policeman" with "man" for her, so inconsistent with their own rules, cleared up in season 2? 15:06, we know what you were thinking betty, what "he could dial his phone with." no matter who you are, or what you look like, 16:42 it's never a dignified departure when they spin you off the set.

This is the saddest match game that I've seen in awhile how is it that mr. Magoo doesn't give mr. Magoo as his answer and then the guy chooses mr. Magoo's horrible answer which is mr. President, the ladies offer him the top two answers and he ignores both of them

Love the married bit.. ;0) At least he got the panel laughing this time instead of the other way around.. ;0) I keep trying to figure out why they couldn’t put a stand on the audience match side of the turnable for the hand mic so Gene didn’t have to watch two mic cables or remember to grab it before going to the audience match. But then again that is just me.. ;0)
Brett gave Betty a lot of crap in these early episodes.

All these decades since I watched this show when it originally aired I NEVER understood why Brett Somers was even on the show, let alone made a regular. The damn broad just couldn't keep her yap shut. She thought she was oh so clever and witty when in fact she was a rude, loudmouthed bore. No wonder Jack couldn't live with her. And that's really saying something given Jack was a loud guy. At least he wasn't a bore.
Sometimes comedy revolves around a protagonist that the others play off of. They were looking for someone to spur the others on. I liked her, and she was funny in some ways.
