Ray Luzier is the best part of Korn.
It's sickening how good his fills, transitions, and how he makes these songs so big and entertaining. Definitely one of my favorite drummers to watch, and if you have never seen any of his clinics, they're fantastic as well! Easily one of the best in the entire industry! You da man, Ray!
The entire band is consistent, they are all so talented.
Ray is consistent. Plain and simple. His time is amazing and he is flawless every time.
Probably the most important attribute in a drummer, tbh
'simple' is something else ;-)
props to the light show too
Exciting drummer, exciting band, exciting song. Korn is fresh air, if that makes any sense. :D
Don´t know how long you are a fan, but it does..
does it count if you're a fan for more than 16 years? xD
Ray is phenomenal as usual. JD’s growls just get better and better
So finally I get to see pro shots from Korn's new songs!!!
Fucking dope. Ray is a true genius.
THIS IS A SHADOW OF KORN FROM THE 90'S ......THE CROWD IS NOT EVEN MOVING ......1996 EVERYONE IN THE CROWD WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN
Cause half the people are on their phone instead of being in the moment
The comcast center is a difficult place to see Korn live. The crowd we could see, were all in seats, and security is a bitch. The people who are actually moshing are behind them in the grass out of the camera's view.
Yeah I remember the crown used to look like a wave pool in front of korn. Not as electrifying as the 90's
Smenister calm down thats not even MEXICO
that's because the teens from 96 are grown adults now
this song is so much better live... :-)
Ray is underrated.
OMFG ! Ray Luzier level hard drummer 🔥🤘♥️
IMHO Ray is the #1 Metal Drummer as of now. He is the only drummer I 've heard for a long time that can reproduce the studio version of a band's songs perfectly in a live rendition. He is the best thing that has ever happened to Korn. Simple as that.
Im gonna have to agree with your there, I love david in his own right as a drummer but technically ray is proficient as hell, has alot of energy and is definitely a straight out rock drummer
check out Eloy Casagrande... outstanding drummer playing for Sepultura right now... his stuff is difficult AF and the guy nails it live
As much as I do think he kills it...I gotta give #1 to Matt Greiner from August Burns Red.
He absolutely shreds the kit and his performances live are just as amazing if not even better.
Jajaja never, Hellhammer, Inferno, Nic Barker, Tony Laureano, Aquiles Priester are best than luzier.
kostelo21 search tomas haake then come back to me
How do they sound this good live still and he can still scream with out any trouble not many bands can still do that
It's KoRn, just amazing.
KoRnBaKo hr was smart and knew how to scream 😅😄
Most metal singers scream without proper technique. For example, when Hetfield was young he would scream but he did it totally wrong, that's why he lost his voice later on
So true, I wish Iron Maiden would play all of their solos just like the studio version like Korn :(
Wish Matt Heafy from Trivium knew his limits and didnt push himself. I mean they still sound good but not like mid 2000s good or early 2010s
I keep thinking maybe I "grew out of" Korn, but then I put in Follow the Leader and Issues and they still totally rock. Maybe that's just the nostalgia factor, because I don't really enjoy anything after those album. This dude is definitely a rocking drummer, though.
And I'm always glad to see Jonathan using the mic stand H.R. Giger made for him. RIP in perpetuity, Giger.

You need to give Paradigm Shift & Serenity of Suffering a listen.
So glad to see Korn going back to there roots!
The bridge of korn songs in always special man!!
Killer drummer!!
I'd love a tour of his kit, that rack system looks INSANE! (see what I did there)
👌👌👌👌👌👌😄😄😄😄😄😄
wow what a fuck....i love this shit...long live korn...
Holy sht, that intro...uff🤘🏼
Ray 😍😍😍
Please more from Ray!!!!!!
DAMN!!! I GOT CHILLS ON MY ARMS LOVE KORN LOL
Given the limitations of Korn's sound Ray tears it up! bringing such precise and controlled chaos to songs. I certainly miss Dave's groove but Ray is a beast who suits Korn's newer sound.
By Thomas limitation of Korn’s sound? They’ve hit every genre I can think of. Rock, Metal, Hip-Hop, Jazz/Fusion, Disco, Electronic, and everything in between. Just want to understand what’s limited, not trying to be a smart ass here.
Just...wow!
They are the best.
That was BADAZZ
Never gets old.
I love the 'Я' in the Pearl logo
3:12 jon miss the yrics, awesome sound, video, everything thank you for share this
Other than this crowd sucking, great video. I saw them live in charlotte and ray does a fucking incredible job, they all blew me away to be honest. Insane is my favorite track from SOS and our crowd went crazy to it! Korn is one of my favorite bands since seeing them live now
I love your Products Vic Firth!! Very cool this video. Sharing................
Damn this is actually very good!!
One of my favourite Snare sounds and of course amazing playing.
Awesome
Best metal drummer out there... easily!
lol no
lol yes..
Slikke lol no, tomas haake is in my opinion, this guy is awesome, I've seen them live and he is without a doubt the best in whatever sub-genre Korn fall into, but yeah check out tomas haake's playthrough of clockworks man
fair enough buddy.. I'll check him out..thx!
Slikke it's cool man, you'll probably find me in the comments there too haha!
Yeah awsome.
perfect audio
Inspiration
Fire whoever recorded this haha
muy bueno loco como suena ese tema, por lo que mostraron va a estar tremendo el cd nuevo
fuck i love Jonathan's roars
ray luzier..jonathan davis 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
El mejor baterista del momento mal lejos le pega ala bata
fucking hell ray....true G...
Wow
Jonathan davis has a really good live voice
I´ve set my drum kit kinda like Ray´s kit (without that "ridiculous" rack system, of course) and turn´s out to be just perfect for me... thank´s for the inspiration, Ray :)
Vitor Arsenio same with me I buy every thing he uses my kit is just like his just not with an Insane rack
Same with me. I've also set my drum like his one. And bought the Free Floater Phosphor Bronze because he uses it. But to get all his cymbals is fucking expensive, especially here in germany where the AA Rock Ride costs almost $400
How do you even make a rack like that? I really want to know.
Keeping that fucking beat alive!!!!
Ray Luzier is the best drummer in the world currently
Mr. Pavlston no. Steve Judd and Danny Carey are. Luzier is fantastic, but there's some out there that he just doesn't touch
Sean McGuinness wish I could give that comment 1,000 likes
+Sean McGuinness joey Jordison bro.
Ever heard of Matt Garstka or Tomas Haake? There you have contestants for the best drummer in the world.
There are much better drums out there in terms of skill; Tomas Haake, George Kollias etc. But Ray's still a very good drummer.
!!!!!!!
SICK AS RICH LAD BRUH GO JOHNATHAN!
That drumrack is pretty damn cool, i wonder how long it took them to come up with it :)
e.x.e.l.e.n.t.e!!!!
Who was that Korn lead guitarist preforming on stage while Ray is drumming to Insane?
How can you play with all the flashing lights
Who was that Korn bass player preforming on stage in the video where Ray is doing his drumming to Insane?
The thumbnail looks like Jonathan Davis is playing heavy metal trumpet. 🤣
Coloca ele tocando blind
os vídeos da vich Firth são melhores do que as tradições do rock in rio
OMG a jonathan casi sele olvida la letra :0 3:15
in the verses what is he doing with his right hand? it doesnt look like a ride cymbal and I cant hear anything that matches his playing.
wjveryzer7985 8th notes on the floor tom
I love how Korn knows when they got a serious talent bangin' on the kit they give him props on stage with such a prominate kit that he's out front with the rest of the rythem section. Ray's a fucking god on the kit frfr. I love Korn and have since the beginning and HATED it when Dave left. I knew nothing abt Ray at the time and was a dick abt my all time fave band. Korn's great cuz you don't just love the music, each member is a master and so you know their names and if you're a monster fan you're loyal af but that's why they're so great too. They knew Ray would fit seemlessly MUSICALLY at first then just blow it out the fucking park! Now all these albums later and Ray is that man! I mean, not like Korn had to replace the singer, am I right? 😏
Is this crowd alright?
wowwwww crack music
I have a feeling that Jonathan might’ve thought the song was going to end during the bridge of the song lol and he also forgot the lyrics towards the end
They’ve got lots of songs in their catalogue, lots of lyrics to remember.
Did anyone notice JD Messing up the lyrics twice!?
Wait, he has a 22" and a 24" Bass drum on stage but only uses the 22"?
Good like me
Justin Linches lmao
Great drummer ....just hard to listen to Jonathan Davis repeatedly sing about his anxieties and pain every song ...how he's going insane and can't deal anymore ....I mean damn , it's been like 20 years ....they just haven't changed at all ...the deftones on the other hand have kept that signature sound and musically evolved......:awesome drummer though .
Jolly Dong1031 deftones still suck
I just think about it like this, Jonathan Davis uses the band “Korn” as a musical outlet to express his anger and most deepest feelings which has led to a ton of success along the way. While I do think that it’s very sad that he continues to experience this torment this many years later, he said himself that of course he has happy moments in his life and Korn has had some “lighter” records think Path of Totality, but when going through a recent situation like him just losing his wife it’s like “ARE YOU READYYYYY”😂
New song is great but I just don't like how the theme is still in the same old depressing style. Not that it's wrong but they just change the lyrics a little.
to what? dancing through the meadows?
***** paradigm shift was sunshine and rainbows? And shit?..... Hmmmm
I like some songs off of it. I was pretty decent but you have to admit Korn's style was for the time that's passed and it made you feel something then but now it's like it's a theme just for the sake of it. Back then it was genuine stuff.
Amp they're just different now, it happens
Love his playing - HATE the drum sound. Flat as pancakes
Thank God you're not their sound engineer.. ;o))))
Eric Odiot you can only carry the Ross Robinson snare sound for so long 😉.
@@gsoltis29 I'm not Sound Engineer either but I think that the Drum sound fits perfectly for KoRn and the style of Ray Luzier in particular.... And I also like pancakes ! In France we have the "crepes", thin "pancakes" ;o) I saw KoRnin Paris a long time ago ( I'm 59 !) and the show with David Silveria on drums was awful ! Ray Luzier is among thetop drummers of metal ( with Jay Weinberg, Dave Lombardo, Shannon Larkin, Charlie Engen , Brooks Wakerman....); according to me!
Eric Odiot I love crepes! But I love Mario Duplantier even more. Best drummer to come out of your country. I LOVE his drum sound, I agree that Rays sound fits Korn but I was hoping when joined he would bring a new sound with him. It seems like he almost went out of his way to sound more like David. I liked Rays drum sound with DLR better. It was a bit more open and alive sounding.
Eric Odiot

This performance just floored me
weird dreadlocked men in kilts
Hellhammer, Inferno, Nic Barker, Tony Laureano, Aquiles Priester, and more better than luzier
No. Maybe better extreme metal drummers, yes, but certainly not as overall drummers.
Hellhammer? Better than Luzier? Lol hellno.
That looks uncomfortable to play
Ray ruined this band he does way to many fillers and drum rolls live and its annoying. When i last saw korn he over killed the entire performance and half the crowd left because how bad it was.
tiene un tempo tan lento que aburre su monotonia ritmica
Awesome
