1938 Rolls Royce Phantom III By H.J. Mulliner "FOR SALE"

- Made between 1936 and 1939, the Phantom III is known as the last pre-war Rolls Royce model with only 727 being produced.
Mounted behind that unmistakable radiator was something entirely new, unique and exotic to the Phantom III, an all aluminium V12 engine, in fact this was the first and only Rolls Royce to be powered by 12 cylinders until the introduction of the the Silver Seraph in 1998.
This magnificent Phantom III once formed part of the late Rolls Royce aficionado St James Cayzer's collection. A well known car to P&A Woods who have just recently carried a major overhaul, the V12 running beautifully. A truly magnificent machine with excellent provenance.

My late father achieved a dream to own a P111 after having a ride in one in 1939 as a young man , buying one in 1955 and owned until 1969 .My only regret being I was not old enough to drive it , although remember memorable trips in it and on holidays to Scotland. My mother drove it regularly , even shopping trips - another world !.
Dream car since childhood
Far more beautiful than the latest rubbish to be produced by the company.
A can of baked beans is more attractive than the current Rolls-Royce range of pimpmobiles.

Y' all are a little to harsh, don't you think? Times are changing
True I love 19 s and 18 s cars not latest weakness car
Elegant , sheer Beauty, A masterpiece . Thanks John (Australia)
Now that’s a car
When Rolls Royce was still making real cars.
Somewhat similar to my 1948 Daimler. DE36
Saw a DE 18 Consort in two-tone exterior in mint conditioon for about 30.000 Euros in Australia. This Phantom III with its 12 cyl. engine is fine but 33 Liters of petrol to go 100 kms...come on!
@@andreasvenator I saw such a masterpiece in Baghdad at the end of the seventies of the last century... when I was in the prime of my youth... and that was at the Royal Cars Exhibition... and it belongs to King Faisal I.
I'd be living the dream life when I'm able to afford one of these without burning a hole in my pocket.
For the purpose of completing the aesthetics of the video and description, it would be nice if you mentioned the price
I was expecting a guy in a suit with a tomy gun to get out of the back seat.
