There's only one thing wrong with this beautiful Rolls Royce - other than the fact that it needs me in the driver's seat (I WISH!!) - it needs slim line whitewalls which would set it off perfectly. Other than that, it is perfection on wheels. MANY thanks for sharing and take care.

I had an auto mk1, I went to look at a manual mk1 in white, it had been made available for (I think) prince Michael to have a track test in it, it came with a letter stating this and saying unfortunately hrh was not going to buy it.

It's not the snob factor in owning one of these. My opinion they are a work of art, the designer, the craftsmen/coachbuilder their art, producing such a highly desirable product.

I’d replace those wheels with bigger frames and smaller tyres to improve the handling. What is the engine? A Tadek Marek 4 litre straight 6? I think they can be re bored to 4.2 but no more. Still, very, very nice!

I'm not a fan of James Young coach builders. I am not keen on some of their designs. They don't appeal to me, unlike Hoopers, H.J.Mulliner or Arthur Mulliner some Thrupp & Maberley. However I really do like the profile the lines the proportions I must admit the designers have nailed it on this one. The handles at the rear on the trunk/boot are magnificently designed. The interior and upholstery is stunning. This model is definitely highly desirable.
