    I got the 2021 version of the MP and the static weight was spot on at 295g. However, the SW was 311 strungI added weight in the head and it plays great.

    I had 3 gravity mp rackets. static weight was between 295 and 297. swingweight was pretty similar between the 3 of them. however, they were pretty high compared to the tenniswarehouse specs. they came with a swingweight of 296-301 unstrung

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  10 місяців тому

      That's a pretty high SW. Strung is always around +30 SW points.

      I know - that‘s why I sold 2 of them. My old speed mp, babolat pure aeros and my current head extreme tours have a lower swingweight and they have some added led to match them to my favourite specs. so a racket with just 295 grams actually was way more demanding when playing with it than some rackets that should be playing heavier by specs

      the only one that I still have is the one with 296sw unstrung and I use that with tour bite 1.15 mm strings in order to keep the sw as low as possible :/ wanted to switch to them but after they were that hefty I got my hands on a good offer of extreme tours and am pretty happy with them

    Could you introduce our analysis the head gravity MPL 2023 and the Wilson blade 100L V9 ?

    Hey Kitzbühel Tennis t-shirt! I trained there early this morning. Thanks for the detailed specs, I'm trying to decide between these two rackets and am leaning towards the MP for general friendliness, tennis is hard enough already right. Hey if you come to Kitzbühel again this year let me know! And bring your racket 😊

      Hey Ben, Kitzbühel is a fantastic place. I was there two times visiting the famous tournament. I hope I will go there one more time in the future. I would choose the MP probably, too. It's more forgiving and this can help a lot during long matches. My racket is ready to go 😉

    I measured mine the other day.
    -Gravity MP 2023 without strings 294g
    -Gravity MP 2019 without strings 294g
    I weighed the strings, after cutting them out: 16,8g (KB Pro Line Evolution 1,25)
    I want a swingweight machine really so bad. 😅

      Really good numbers. The swingweight machine is a nice toy to have, but expensive. Maybe you can get some second hand for a much better price or write a letter to Santa Claus for Christmas 2023! 😀

    Quality Control is absolute wild. My GravityMP came unstrung with 294 SW (around 325 strung) and 7 grams over spec. Balance was about right. For me this was a great coincidence bc I would add weight anyway, since its too light for its normal specs... But those numbers are crazy, bc a 311 SW feels and plays completely different than 325 SW. Unacceptable tolerance IMO.

    Honestly QC is one of the main reasons I didnt make the switch to this gravity MP over my yonex vcore pro 100

    What strinhgs do you recommend for MP?

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Рік тому

      Head Hawk / Touch, Head Lynx Tour, Tecnifibre Black Code, RPM Blast, MSV Focus Hex. I recommend polyester strings for touch, control and spin.

    The Gravity Tour is not an American release, so TW did not do its customary averaging of six examples.

    2023 gravity mp lite has more power 500 compared to regular MP 400 Power ..they both have same beam 22mm but LITE version is 15 grams lighter...how is that possible? Is the lite version better after adding weight to handle and having both rackets same weight...wanted to get new gravity mp but now I'm wondering if I should get lite version n add leather grip n thick overgrip

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Рік тому +1

      That's a good question and to be honest, I didn't observe that. My theory is, that the lighter frame is less stable, creates more vibrations and this means more free power and less control. It's just how a lighter frame works - gives you the opportunity to swing faster with less stability on impact, so the frame creates a bigger trampoline effect and produces more free power. That's my only explanation. Great topic for some future video.

    head QC sucks in the USA too. i checked 6 MPs and they were all underspec

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Рік тому

      That's a shame. Underspecs is better so you can easily customize it. But of course it would be nice to a have a good specs on a stock racket. Buying rackets online is risky because you never know what you get unless you have a swingweight machine and balance board at home.

      I don't think people realise that virtually every racket, regardless of brand comes out of the same factory. The only exception is Yonex.

  • @cekinekshn
    @cekinekshn Рік тому

    actually Yonex QC is falling off
    Few weeks ago I bought Ezone 98 2022 and unstrung swingweight was 275. Strung with 1.20 tour bite soft - 301.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Рік тому

      That's a really low swingweight. I think this rackets should have unstrung swingweight between 285-295. So this one is about 10-20 points lower. Also heavier strings add a little bit of SW, too, but just maybe 3-5 points.

    • @perfect-tennis

      @@cekinekshn Yeah not great, although I did misread it as 275 strung swingweight. Yonex don't provide target unstrung swingweights, but the EZONE 98 is about 285. So it's not stupidly off. Their QC is by far the best.
