    All-star tennis reviewers. Never thought I'd see these folks in the same video. The shirts are very nice. How does this racquet compare to the Prestige line?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Рік тому +11

      Both have thin beams, providing a lot of control and feel. The Gravity is a bit more forgiving overall, having the 100 headsize, with the rounder shape, it provides the classic sort of control and feel, but helps out the modern baseliner who swings aggressively with topspin. The Prestige line has gradually become a bit more forgiving over the years, but is still a racquet that is all about precision. The more traditional oval shape to the head gives a bit more precise targeting, and seems to work a bit better on flatter shots, and slice, although it still has topspin capabilities, but not quite as easy as the Gravity in that sense. Troy, TW

    I love this stick, made the switch after hitting with it. However, it does get a bit demanding after 2 sets. Tonight I switched back to my boom pro after about 1:45 min and was hitting some bombs. Going to a lighter stick after hitting with the gravity pro makes the game easier it seems.

    Go Jonas and Grisha! So I hit HARD and FLAT (I beat Andre Agassi back in 1985 when we were both protégés of Nick Bolletieri) and now I’ve returned to the game and I’m playing with the 2001 i.prestige mid. It’s the only racket I like but I have no way to demo the Gravity Pro where I live. How close is it to a modern version of the Head i.prestige mid? I’m thinking maybe my old rackets are the only rackets with true full control and precision for a massively hard flat hitter like me. Damn I wish I could try out this new racket! Thanks for the review…I’ll check the website

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Рік тому

      Unfortunately, it is not available here in the US, but there is a possibility for a playtest at TW Europe. The Extreme MP provides easier access to power and is a bit more spin friendly. The Gravity MP offers more control and feel, and is also a bit more comfortable on the arms. Troy, TW

    Was the racquets tested with Head Hawk Power? How does it play in comparison to Head Lynx Tour?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Рік тому

      Hawk Power is a bit more comfortable, and has a more dampened feel for a poly. The Lynx Tour is a bit firmer, crisper, holds tension a bit better and offers a bit more bite on the ball. Troy, TW

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Рік тому

      The Gravity is a bit closer to the Blade 98 16x19 v8, both very comfortable, and offer plenty of control and feel. The Gravity is a bit more maneuverable and slightly more forgiving than the Blade 98 16x19 v8. The Speed Pro is heavier and feels a bit more stable, and offer some added plow through, and with the 18x20 pattern it also has a bit lower launch angle. Troy, TW

    I’m pretty much sure Gravity is a good stick. But let’s be honest, you should call it promotion, not a review. The quality of video is great, but the way you do it … this obsessive review repels more than it attracts. From a marketing standpoint, this is a failure.
    Big mistake for all these “testers” and their reputation to be on this promo. Tw and head just used you. If Head/Tw wanted a super review, they should have sent them racquets for independent review, rather than dressing them in head jerseys under head banners and do an "independent" review. Idk how no one got this… my friend saw the review and his first question was “why you’re watching this tennisnerd guy?” And I know he is definitely not alone.
