one of the best videos I've seen on this platform in a while specially with all the divine feminine be modest (for men/society/religion) women/body hating content out there I just always think wow women are really eating this shit up? its the exact same thing that has been used to control women and keeping them in a box for centuries (they used to burn baddies as witches for a reason ) when really just be a baddie be yourself and do what makes you happy for you, being bad is loving your womenhood
Thank you so much! I absolutely LOVE your point of view. I think people interpret the term "baddie" in very different ways. As long as you don't harm others, and you actually even do the opposite by prioritising you so that you CAN be more generous and giving, it's actually a win win. I find that being "nice" is selfish because you can't share happiness with others. And I believe what makes life truly valuable is sharing happy moments, and being uplifted by others. Thank you again for taking the time to type this out, wishing you a beautiful start to the week 🥰🥰
Yes, I’m sure u can relate to growing up with a mom who is secretly in competition with you, my singing is super “inappropriate” sounding cause it’s like Britney Spears vibes and I realize she was subconsciously trying to sabotage my music my whole life now cause of the podiatrist attention I get from it, I am putting all of myself into it and all the haters can watch from the nose bleeds and the real fans will be in the front of my shows haha we are going to age like fine wine because our beauty is from the inside out, no one can say that we are not beautiful.
Hello Savannah! Lovely to see you. So glad that you are finding your own light and not letting people from your past hold you back! You look absolutely gorgeous in your new pic and Britanny Spears has a beautiful voice!!! At the end of the day its not even just about vocal alone, its about connecting to the listener which your critics probably cant do!! You go girl keep doing you! ❤❤❤
3:30 - feeling confident or good about yourself doesn’t have to be tied to showing skin. why do y’all keep connecting empowerment to revealing clothes? can we talk about how the media is literally programming this idea into everyone’s heads? it’s not empowerment-it’s a trap. 4:49 - so you’re not listening to your family or friends when they’re genuinely concerned and trying to look out for you? instead, you’re chasing this mindset of, *“the world’s trying to stop me from being a ho, so imma double down and prove them wrong.”* girl, you need to pause and think this through. like, yeah, not caring about other people’s opinions or standing your ground is powerful, but judgment matters. knowing what’s actually good for you matters. there’s nothing wrong with being sexy or confident, but let’s be real-this trend of always needing to wear the skimpiest clothes isn’t about empowerment. it’s about being sold a harmful narrative that doesn’t benefit us in the long run. you’re being thrown into a mindset that’s more damaging than freeing, and honestly, it’s time we see through it.
