Broadcasting live* from Bordeaux, I look back at some of my highlights of 2023: My Placement at Northern (joining the Performance team), my gallivant around Europe with my Dad (including the infamous Bernina Express), my train trip and Geography field trip to the Arctic Circle, Durham's Lumiere and launching Enroute. I then join friends & family in placing our bets for 2024. Finally I reflect on the challenge of both working in and critiquing/commenting on the rail industry, Israel/Palestine and the future of the channel.
*Due to an editing technicality I could not upload this in time for New Years Eve, after which it got held up due to exams and other deadlines. Oops.

Great to see a video from you again David! Also great to once again see the David who isn't afraid to put his opinions across on camera. The whole Israel-Palestine situation at the moment is awful; I am not going to try and pretend to understand what exactly is going on there but I imagine it has put you and your immediate family in a very awkward position. I hope for everyone's sake that a peaceful resolution comes about as soon as possible
