When playing resident evil 4 {wii version} in this emulator, being able to map the wiimote/nunchuk controls in a gamepad is a real game changer! The amount of precision and versatility achieved almost gives the illusion of playing it on pc {mouse/keyboard}.

when i press b (or a on switch pro controller) it just exits the controller config, then when i try to play it says there is no controller
Not sure about that controller , if other keys are getting registered , avoid mapping B key , replace it with another key like L3 key i.e. pressing of left analog stick
where can i find the extension? the newest dolphin in ps doesnt have extension

Try starting the game afresh with classic controller extension instead of loading a save state where you were using nunchuck

Works by default, try using some different build of dolphin like mmjr / mmjr2

@@GamingDJ4u it works very slow with the play store app, like 12 fps and with horrible sound.
With the other version apk (mmjr), runs 30 fps but the controller not responding at all.

If other keys are working , try using some other dolphin build . Official / mmj / mmjr / mod build . Android controllers are supported by dolphin , even xbox one controller works .
For anyone having issues with your controller's analog sticks not registering, here's what fixed it for me:
1) Go to your phone's settings
2) Click "Accessibility"
3) Click "Installed services"
4) Click any apps are listed as "on"
5) Turn them off

Is it detected by your phone ? Try mapping the keys on official dolphin build to see if it's detected

Just go to settings in citra mmj, tap on Input Bindings and map the keys

Can you do it again for the latest version of dolphin? Its very different. I cant map the buttons. Would be good if you test it on forgotten sands wii.

If you were able to map the gamepad to dolphin's classic and GameCube controller , it should work with dolphin's wiimote as well , try mapping on the different builds of dolphin emulator

If you can try to make video of mapping amkette pro evo 4 with dolphin mmj build
The process is same , try mapping on the official build , make sure keys are registered , when you start the Wii game , switch extension to classic or nunchuck depending on the controller supported , I can't help more

Strange , make sure gamepad is detected by your phone , you can try out some different builds

Appreciate the reply but it didn't cover everything you breezed through it in the video but hopefully you one day do some redoing and start with that cod waw plus reflex game and the rest of them but in a way it matches the configuration of the pc and consoles button for button movement for movement exact layout. Remember yx ab etc isn't exactly xy ab you have to set the tendo buttons opposite.

Sorry used a ps4 controller but viewers have told me that it works with dolphin, if it's detected by your phone, try using any other build of dolphin like mmjr / mod build / official build
@@GamingDJ4u I figured out the problem! It's because I'm using the latest version of android!
To fix the issue i did the following steps:
1. I went to the Developer Options and turned on 'Enable Gabledorsche' (I have no idea what it means.)
2. Then i set 'Bluetooth AVRCP' to 1.4
3. After that i went to accessibility settings, end disabled EVERYTHING.
After this extremely confusing process I have been playing through Metroid Prime trilogy with no issues at all!

How do you set wiimote pointer for aiming?
It's the IR sensor mapping , you can also enable the virtual thumbstick for IR sensor in custom dolphin builds
@@GamingDJ4u I did but sensitivity is too high and it didn't move as smooth as it moves on touchscreen, can you suggest me senstivity settings, I am using both mmj 11453 build and mod 17035 build
I use the default settings only , have you used the virtual thumbstick to emulate ir sensor ? It's more accurate
@@GamingDJ4u I am mapping dualshock 4 controller, on touch screen it is working fine, aiming does work properly , only GameCube controls works perfectly fine with controller
Yeah , Ir sensor emulation via right analog stick isn't as accurate as the c stick emulation of GameCube controller

Problem of all Android Gamepad Mappings controller.
That you think 🤔 your controller is not working.
or even it is working no damages of the controller.
but in some Emulation apps Games can't
Work and some of them are working fine and some of them are cannot be mapped. what I say is cannot bind cannot Connect to the designated buttons on your controllers.
and we think it's the problem of Android system android upgrade to 11 and 12. and we only think it is working on Android 10 below.
