Honestly, I would just get an xbox series or xbox One Controller. They are compatible with all pc games by default, plus every emulator on pc has Xinput, making it easy to set up your controller.
@@UrCasualGameri have a xbox one pro controller, but one trigger is broken, so i though about getting a dongle to connect my ps4 controller wirelessly, but i dont want to just buy a ps4 dongle, ecause if i do that, i am limited to connecting only the ps4 controller, is there a way to connect ps4 and xbox controller with a single dongle? can 8bitdo do this? what did i need? ty
I bought two 8bitdo controllers that look like SNES controllers yet have the functions of modern day controllers. If youre making your system into a retrogaming-themed machine, 8bitdo, or any controller that has a retro look to it, would be awesome. Get four of them for your friends. But if you're not really into the whole retro look, UrCasualGamer makes a solid point, just go with a generic XBox controller.

Two things. 1. How are we talking about emulators and not mentioning emulators for Atari, Coleco, Amiga, MSDOS, NES, Sega Master System, SNES, Sega Genesis, and MAME??? Make that make sense. You need at the very least an arcade emulator. 2. And why push Lemuroid if all or most of your recommended emulators don't work with it? Wouldn't they work on RetroArch? And even though Daijisho hasn't been updated in 5 months, isn't Daijisho still prettier than Lemuroid? Lemuroid didn't really look cool in your video. Does it have themes? And is Launchbox better looking than Daijisho or no? Ok maybe a little more than two things.
I think he said the 8 best emulators, not the 18 best... And not related, but yes, for those systems (and just like he said, for someone new to emulation) Lemuroid is by far the best option, not the prettiest... the best!
@@Odracir627Still doesn't make sense if only talking about "the best". This is the first time I've ever heard a video talk about retro gaming and entirely leaves out the 1980s, the 1990s and the entire era of Arcade games. So it's not "the best". It's restricted to gaming only after the early 2000s. As for lemuroid, it wasn't compatible with most of the emulators he mentioned. So I don't see a reason to get it if using stand alone emulators is better, according to the vlogger. I feel like I just repeated what I initially said, just to respond to your comment. I feel like I might have made a mistake responding. I hope not.
Lemuroid is good for PSP/PS1, N64 and past systems. It does not have Dos, MAME, or Coleco. It does those past systems well but I do have some gripes and it's last update was a year ago. It is supposed to be very easy to use but it is almost too easy to use while retroarch is still too hard and tedious, in my opinion. I still use Lemuroid for most past systems. The only thing I do differently is SNES MSU-1 roms. I use SNes9x EX+ for that.
