Dolphin is a free and open-source video game console emulator for GameCube and Wii[28] that runs on Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S.[10][29]
It had its inaugural release in 2003 as freeware for Windows. Dolphin was the first GameCube emulator that could successfully run commercial games. After troubled development in the first years, Dolphin became free and open-source software and subsequently gained support for Wii emulation. Soon after, the emulator was ported to Linux[30] and macOS.[31] As mobile hardware got more powerful over the years, running Dolphin on Android became a viable option.

It's always the smallest channels that help with my problems.
There is no emulated options for when i go to controller settings
Select regular controller then the gear icon to map

Dolphin has been updated now so now it says the name of the controller like dual sense , gamepad D8 , or android controller

My dolphin emulator configuration worked but when I play a game and select the controller the game doesn't register my inputs (I'm using Bluetooth with a pro controller)
Fixed it, all you need to do is keep it controller 1

Mapped all, started windwaker and as soon as I hit B the side menu pops up. Frustrating

Had the same issue but I just closed the app and kept trying eventually it worked for me
In Game Cube Controller 1, press Device and select the controller. Make sure you do it in Game Cube Controller 1.
I did the same settings and all the buttons worked except the L3 didn't work, what should I do?
I tried that bit it just didint load up the controller settings

I have the same kishi control I believe I set it up exactly how you did and it doesn't work. I'm trying to play dragon's lair. I can't even start the game without having the display controls on. I'm going to take it off and put it to controller one GameCube it. Nothing works and that's the only game I have on it right now but it doesn't work. I can't start the game or control anything. I can go through dolphin menu with no problem but I can't start the game
I am setting up my Lo-0004 and when i select a button to bind it doesn't work then i click on it and it says 1+button 2+ button and 3+button help

Thanks for the vid man. I wonder if you know how to fix this controller issue. I've set it up as explained and it's works great...until I start up the app again and it's forgotten there's a controller connected when I load up a game even when it let's be select and start a game from the menu.

You have to set your controller maping in GameCube Controller 1. It will only work in controller 1, just like a real console.
My pro controllers operate as 1 or wont connect to my galxy tablet at all

When I click on emulated, it does nothing. Just kicks me back to the menu. I can't configure any buttons on my XBox One controller. Using Dolphin on Nvidia Shield Pro.

On my retroid pocket 4 pro, I’m trying to set up the controls for my 8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth controller. I have the controls set up. The problem is that all of the controls don’t work the way I wanted them to be. And I don’t know how to switch controller inputs or profiles for the GameCube.
When you play on the RP4 are you able to map the left stick to the emulator’s control stick settings?

Well, my problem is that the controller just Controlls my phone, like i can go to homescreen & that shit and it the app it didn't work (xbox Wireless controller & same phone)
I have the special edition of the gamecube wireless pikachu controller for Nintendo switch, had connected it to my phone, I've been trying to set it up for the DK Jungle Beat game but it's been a pain on the head 😭😭😭

Great video bro. But for some reason on the Dolphin I have.... when you go to set up specific controls for specific games, it says I have to set up a profile. No button mapping unless I'm doing it for the entire emulator.

Works but the control stick is kinda messed up. The controller works fine on console.
Is there no way to set a button on controller for Back to access menu? Seems like a weird oversight. I certainly couldn't find a setting.

When your mapping the controller it has a setting for deadzone I put mime on 50 percent
I am having trouble understanding how Dolphin is recognizing bluetooth controllers...I am using a MOGA controller and its connected to my s23 via bluetooth but I am not having any luck with Dolphin recognizing the controller existing. Any luck with that one by chance?

I have got the issue that always if I start a game, the Gamepad is not setup like supposed. If I press B, the Menu shows up.
To temporarily fix this, I need to set it up all again If I'm in the game and this every time agin. Any solution?

I did this with a gamecube controller (with USB cable) and tried an OTG type C to USB adapter , I don't have a problem when I map the buttons in setting but when I start a game it doesn't recognize any button
Does your phone have a game exclusive mode. You need to add Dolphin to the game mode. I believe. What model Phone are you using.

I downloaded the game on tablet and played with virtual on screen controls before. On Dolphin 🐬 Emulator, no such virtual control settings😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I'm using a backbone on a Google pixel 7, it literally worked before and for some reason now whenever I try to map controls the control stick is constantly moving. It doesn't do this on any other emulator or game
It works but when I press nothing the right joystick just goes, why is that?
You have a drift issue on the controller. Change the deadzone on the stick

I set up my switch pro controller on dolphin. I even mapped all the buttons and sticks. I just dont see why a NINTENDO product cant work on Nintendo software wtf.
Huh, my options are way different? My options don't say "emulated". They say "standard controller" and several other peripherals, but no "emulated"
This is like 2-3 years old just choose standard controller
@@TwinCherryStudio managed to get it to work on my old Xbox 360 controller. Issue is it won't work with my new 3rd party controller -_- (the Xbox 360 one has a wild amount of drift even after I've messed around with dead zones, sadly}
This old news. Choose Standard Controller option now. Emulated has gone.

Same it just has standard and im on a galaxy tab so all 4 pro controllers can connect with no issue but most of the time they just operate as 1 controller

Same. Mine doesn't show emulated but it has a lot more other options like standard, keyboard, GC adapter, and more

Dance mat
DK bongos
Gamecube adaptor

How are you made your stuff display on your screen you actually don't have to do that anymore if you get yourself a Amazon Fire stick TV it has mirror mode and it also has a setting that allows you to match the pace things move across your phone if you turn that function on it won't look like any of the images of your games are struggling with movement across the screen when characters are moving across the screen they look like they're moving naturally across the screen like as if you had the switch in the dock all you have to do on your fire stick TV Amazon is go to your mirror mode setting click on your mirror mode display and audio option big mirror mode then go on your Android phone fix Smart View and find the fire stick that has your name and your Amazon account or whoever is fire stick you're using and their account and look for their name on your and their fire stick on your Smart View function and voila you can play GameCube games and any other games on emulators on your TV just like the switch when it's in its dock
God I hate the Gamecube controller. Every other emulator is simple to map, but it's so goddamn irritating to try to figure out what the hell you're doing when mapping a controller in Dolphin
