i can move around the emulator settings with the controller but when i go to set an input the emulator just doesnt detect the button im pressing. anyone know why?
Attention! For those who have a different interface and who have done all the same actions, but the controller does not work. Try clicking on the game you are interested in and select the "Edit Game Settings" option. In the window that opens, select "Gamecube Input". Click on the nut icon, but this time instead of the layout settings, the Profile selection will appear. If you configured your controller, then you should have created a profile and given it a name, select it now and perhaps this will solve the problem.
I absolutely can't get it to do anything other than this. My controller works with every other emulator and game flawlessly except Dolphin, and I've gone through every guide at this point.
Completely close dolphin. Turn on the controller looking at your home screen with all your apps. Make sure it's paired, then open dolphin and boot your game
My dolphin emulator configuration worked but when I play a game and select the controller the game doesn't register my inputs (I'm using Bluetooth with a pro controller)
When I click on emulated, it does nothing. Just kicks me back to the menu. I can't configure any buttons on my XBox One controller. Using Dolphin on Nvidia Shield Pro.
I have the same kishi control I believe I set it up exactly how you did and it doesn't work. I'm trying to play dragon's lair. I can't even start the game without having the display controls on. I'm going to take it off and put it to controller one GameCube it. Nothing works and that's the only game I have on it right now but it doesn't work. I can't start the game or control anything. I can go through dolphin menu with no problem but I can't start the game
Thanks for the vid man. I wonder if you know how to fix this controller issue. I've set it up as explained and it's works great...until I start up the app again and it's forgotten there's a controller connected when I load up a game even when it let's be select and start a game from the menu. Any help would be really appreciated!

I have the special edition of the gamecube wireless pikachu controller for Nintendo switch, had connected it to my phone, I've been trying to set it up for the DK Jungle Beat game but it's been a pain on the head 😭😭😭 I've tried to set up the buttons and when I play, theyre either unresponsive, they don't work properly or they don't do nothing...I'm so frustrated 😂
Does anyone know if for certain games that require you to shake the remote to perform an action if it can be done with a button instead? See I have a Bluetooth controller. I'm wanting to play New Super Mario Bros Wii and I can use my Bluetooth controller to play but I can't spin when my character jumps because it's a motion control action. And I'm wondering if I can spin jump with the push of a button instead of having to shake it.
Great video bro. But for some reason on the Dolphin I have.... when you go to set up specific controls for specific games, it says I have to set up a profile. No button mapping unless I'm doing it for the entire emulator. Do you happen to know why that would be??
