Race Training Take Off and Landing Clips

Just a couple of phone camera clips from the ground for the race training flight. I didn't run the cameras on the flights to avoid distraction! If you listen carefully you can hear the countdown being shouted to the chap with the flag. When the flag raises you increase teh power as much as you can on the brakes, when the flag lowers you're off! Thanks to John Kelsall for the clips!
This is the Van's RV-7 tailwheel aircraft that I built in my garage over 5 years. It's first flight was in July 2023 and we now fly it everywhere we can visiting people and places and documenting our adventures along the way for friends and family. I flew fighter jets for 20 years and now just enjoy flying around the country with my wife who is also a professional pilot although she lets me do most of the flying! We will be competing in the British Air Racing Championship this year which is why you see 777 on the tail!
