Ive flown the C90B for 6 years now as corporate pilot and am amazed at the stunning accuracy of your 200. The sounds are the sweetest music as if coming from Pratt and Whitney. And FEATHERED PROPS?! Congradulations on a marvelous job!
Watching the flight at this weather condition is an emotional challenge. I´d never dare to expose such a masterpiece to non ideal conditions ! 50 years ago as a boy I stood at a small airport early in the morning, wanted to see aeroplanes - no one there ! But then the landing light of a king air came trough the dusk, the plane approached and landed. Nose up shortly to break the sinking rate and precisely placed ! Since that time I admire the king air and remember this moment when I see one. Thank you and please another video with less turbulences and calm weather.
Its kinda funny , that large piston engines have a different sound than smaller piston engines. But gas turbines seem to all sound the same, large or small
My jaw hit the floor when I saw this! Great work. I fly the full scale B200 for my job and fly R/C as my hobby, this video is a real treat! Thanks for posting it!
I have maintained and flown many aircraft over the years and this is by far the best civilian aircraft ever built in my opinion. Your tribute is awsome.
I'd love to see the turbines and prop under that spinner! I hope he leaves a link to the pictures during the build. That is priceless! What a museum piece someday!
BEAUTIFUL!!!!! nice aircraft, i learned in a King-Air....cant believe u captured the elligance of that aircraft right into an RC.....best plane by far!!
Fantastic AC, very impressive. Thanks for NOT adding music to the video. The turboprops are music enough. Good job on the crosswind take off and landing.
I am in AWE! There is far more involved with a Turbo Prop than with Jet... and Variable Pitch Propellers Wow... all I can say is this is amazing! Best RC I have ever seen.... Thank you for sharing!!!!
Coolest rc aircraft I've ever seen. Turboprops are so much more interesting and beautiful that jets, some day I would like to owner-pilot a PC12. Great work on the model!
That is just unbelievable... Wow, what a great builder, a real artist... What a Master Craft Man, that's a talented man, or team... That has to be what,,, a $ 25,000.00 dollar investment ??? Engines alone are how much? Got to be close to ten each... I have no idea ??? Was it a little windy the day of this flight ? What kind of props, they have got to cost, a ton... At, $ 25,000.00 that might be light, in fact, real light.. Like about half, Thank You for posting this, outstanding !!!!
I wasn't planning on commenting on this video but after several months of bumping onto this video on U Tube I still kept finding myself watching it from the start to the finish. What a beautiful twin engine turbo prop airplane. It truly could pass for the real deal if the pilots and engineer were not present in the video but I am glad they were there for a prospective view.
Those feathering props had to cost as much as the airplane itself. Very cool. I think the wind was stronger than he expected on the takeoff. He took that into consideration and nailed that landing. 👍🏽
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!!! Incredible build - that is a labor of love, engineering, sweat, time and money. The only pieces not absolutely scale are the visible control horns, but onboard start, variable pitch props, superb landing gear, impeccable fit and finish, handmade wheels and tires even !! To top it off - amazing piloting in what would amount to a scale HURRICANE and still bring it in for a soft, perfect landing !! I'm way beyond impressed - I've watched this 12 times - amazed each time !!
Great job.Wonderful detail.Strong winds?Probably just a light breeze where you come from.I would suggest the pilot is a much higher level than most.Congratulations.You have raised the bar by meters.
Outstanding....! The only turboprop R/C King-Air in the world... Entirely home built, outstanding....! I love this plane.. I'm sure he has been approached from Hobby Mfg.'s for the selling of plans and rights to manufacture, as it is an outstanding design.. And I am going to assume it is true to scale also... Absolutely outstanding---!
Bloody fantastic- apart from the empty cabin, it would fool anyone if they didn't realise it was a model. Having flown with Air Greenland (S61, B757, Dash8) this is a really familiar colour scheme!
Wow, it's beautiful. I would only taxi it around because I wouldn't want to crash it. I noticed you were trying to motor residual fuel at the end, and was surprised that you could engage the starter like that. Also realized it must have internal batteries. She must be a heavy model. Cheers.
Incredible Achievement: research, dexterity, craftsmanship, talent and patience, a work of art, a modeler's dream to make once in his lifetime...well, some are courageous enough to do it...Congratulations..We can only admire and appreciate.
What a masterpiece. Looked like it even had variable pitch props. No way would I be flying that thing on such a crappy day. The builder looked like he was sweating bullets as he handed the radio to the pilot. Incredibly good landing, though.
amazing, id love to see the prop mechanism, obviously lots of wind, the nose wheel was off the ground and the plane was almost standing still. very cool indeed.
AWESOME! I used to fly the super 200 b along w/ my dad for many yrs. Now iam into R/C and thought someone might do this. One of a kind, do vids of flights.
I know Carl WHO Build it. All (!!) is build in his workshop - fuselage, full engine incl. carbon rotor blades, tyres, landing gear. Just genius engineering.
I keep coming back to this amazing vid. Would be great to see some people on-board, really put some scale detail into it. Love the smoking engines on shutdown, often saw the same thing on the 1:1 scale:-) Again just brilliant!
The smoke after shutdown is fuel not completely shut off or burning. Similar to full-scale with a FCU problem. Just an amazing model, really remarkable!!
11 years later and still one of the finest rc planes I've ever seen. Any other videos of this aircraft?
Holy Moly What a Brilliant Build, and what A Brilliant Man who Build it !!! Just Wonderful to Watch all this Take Place !!! WOW !!!!
I can't believe this is equipped with full feathering props ! That's incredible !
Can't believe they flew it on that windy day

Wow if that doesn't float your boat then nothing will.
Thanks for the post. Simply Superb!
One of the nicest R/C planes I have seen - awesome job - wish I could see it in Person.

Im absolutely in love with this plane. The moment the prop started spinning.. goosebumps.
Its kinda funny , that large piston engines have a different sound than smaller piston engines. But gas turbines seem to all sound the same, large or small
So true!
I am the builder and owner of the aircraft and I have made it just for fun, no commercial interest whatsoever.
Genius, I flew them for many years and it’s so realistic, great aeroplane and incredibly realistic ❤ love it!
My jaw hit the floor when I saw this! Great work. I fly the full scale B200 for my job and fly R/C as my hobby, this video is a real treat! Thanks for posting it!
awesome craftsmanship !!!!!! feathering props???? i cant believe it!!!! what detail! bravo!!!!!!!

That is the most beautiful R.C. I have ever seen bar-none . The detail is just fantastic .
I'd love to see the turbines and prop under that spinner! I hope he leaves a link to the pictures during the build. That is priceless! What a museum piece someday!
very awesome model and great piloting too - with all the wind

no matter how many times I watch this-I’m amazed beyond words. Phenomenal realism.
I like the way the turbines keep auto-starting after shutdown until a safe temperature is reached. Just an awesome bird.
Brilliant , not seen an R/C model of one of those before!
Wow! Very impressive. Wonderful work.
Its a pleasure to see such fine craftmanship!
I am in AWE!
There is far more involved with a Turbo Prop than with Jet... and Variable Pitch Propellers Wow... all I can say is this is amazing!
Best RC I have ever seen....
Thank you for sharing!!!!
Twin spool design? variable pitch props? Man! You got time and money invested in this one!
Insanely windy day! But I can't imagine what kind of gearbox engineering that has to go into something like this.
Coolest rc aircraft I've ever seen. Turboprops are so much more interesting and beautiful that jets, some day I would like to owner-pilot a PC12. Great work on the model!
I just noticed those are q-tip props. Incredible detail.
Nice scale aircraft, and great performance on a windy day.
Wow what a beautiful landing
Feathering Props!!!!! That is frickin' amazing. Super Job.
Now that is just about the coolest #RCaircraft I've ever seen.
wow outstanding and what a landing for such a windy day
Yep, I now know 2 happy people, the builder and the pilot. they have been talking about this project for a long time.
well done Karl and Keld

That was the smoothest RC landing I have ever seen! Well done!
beautiful landing on a windy day too !
You can see the excitement on their faces! What a gorgeous R/C _model_. Seems to handle amazingly, even in winds!
Boys and their toys. Love it.
Best Wishes,
Maureen - Australia.
That's one pretty plane... nice landing also!!!
I don't think I'd be flying that beauty on such a windy crappy day.
Holy cow, I've seen a lot of scale airplanes, but this takes the prize. What an outstanding example of skill and know-how. Great job!
wow congrats! I fly the real ones and I amazed how much detail this RC has! Real piece of worksmanship!
WOW WOW WOW!!!!! An R/C flier's dream. Very nice!
That airframe and turboprop is my dream plane, must have cost a pretty penny though....nice flying
There comes a point in life -- like this man -- where you say... I have all this money and I want to spend it on myself for a change.
Beautiful model!
wow what a pretty aeroplane well done to all involved spectacular
Such a beautiful model. Total kudos sir.
WHAT THE !! that plane is awesome! great work!

That's art work in my book! Nice.
I'm a model-flyer as well, and I must say - this is the BEST homemade rc plane I have ever seen!!! :D Great aerodynamics :D Great work! :D
Bloody fantastic- apart from the empty cabin, it would fool anyone if they didn't realise it was a model. Having flown with Air Greenland (S61, B757, Dash8) this is a really familiar colour scheme!
Great Great Great. Simply unbelieveable. Best i've ever seen!
Nice landing! But the wind to me back a bit, nice Job guys...
I have thousands of hrs in the B200 & this brings a tear to my eye, outstanding model there guys, well done:-)
Wow! What a beautiful aircraft and a great realistic twin turbo-prop sound, including prop feather at the end! You all are true artisans!
Wow, it's beautiful. I would only taxi it around because I wouldn't want to crash it. I noticed you were trying to motor residual fuel at the end, and was surprised that you could engage the starter like that. Also realized it must have internal batteries. She must be a heavy model. Cheers.

well, congratulations my friend, i'm a pilot of a king air C90, and this little plane of yours it's a beauty! excellent job!
What a masterpiece. Looked like it even had variable pitch props. No way would I be flying that thing on such a crappy day. The builder looked like he was sweating bullets as he handed the radio to the pilot. Incredibly good landing, though.
Great flight considering the wind 👌

Excellent pilot to handle the turbulence on landing.
Outstanding !!! Absolute great plane.
Chris
absolutely beautiful air plane.
WOW!! How did you build such a beauty? My twin otter is not even close to that!
Amazing model. Congrats. Also, congrats on having the balls to fly it ... in this weather.
I bet this is even more expensive thanthe real one!!! Enviable skill!! Congratulations!!!!!
Absolutely love turbo props and this beauty is fabulous and hits the nail! Please post more!
Wow I did not think you could top RC jets in the coolness factor but THIS is the sickest thing I've EVER seen. Absolutely fantastic!
And he can enter it in jet competitions...which he would win.
Very nice, great work and flying !!!
Outstanding. I've worked at Beech Flight for the past 30 years. That looks nice
Beautiful piece of work - those turbines just send that send that girl away
Absolutely stunning. Needs a pilot!
finaly someone landing, not stopping to fly
That is so nice, probably the nicest RC plane I have ever seen.
I know Carl WHO Build it. All (!!) is build in his workshop - fuselage, full engine incl. carbon rotor blades, tyres, landing gear. Just genius engineering.
Amazing build. I appreciate the detail and construction.
Now that is realistic engine start.👍🏾
To this day the only scale kingair with turbine engines with scale props.
One of the best models ever built.
I keep coming back to this amazing vid. Would be great to see some people on-board, really put some scale detail into it.
Love the smoking engines on shutdown, often saw the same thing on the 1:1 scale:-)
Again just brilliant!
should make another vid of this on a more calm day but I like the model and the flying :)
That's a beautiful plane!
Amazing landing!
The smoke after shutdown is fuel not completely shut off or burning. Similar to full-scale with a FCU problem. Just an amazing model, really remarkable!!
Great landing, this would have to be one of the most authentic scale models with turbines and variable pitch props.
crazy flying in that wind
