Hi sorry I missed the message! Any bracing of the box has virtually no effect on the neck strength. The pickup needs to sit in the area where the neck continues through the box. Therefore the neck is virtually cut in half at that point. Adding a tenon under the original neck provides the strength to stop the neck becoming a banana. Thanks for watching:)
Cant you place the pickup near the neck using the bracing for support?
