The witches house from Hansel and Gretel is located by Aarhus Airport in Denmark. Worth a visit if one is fearless, and wants to explore outside the trodden paths.
OMG, why has this home been left to rot!! This is absolutely beautiful!! Oh to be able be able to renovate this magnificent cottage in the woods and live there, everyday hearing the birds!! living away from the fucked up rat race and waking every morning in this beautiful cottage in the woods!!
Amazing beautiful forest there untouched by cars and roads probably plenty of natural living for many natural wildlife in that area of the country as well what a cool looking house as well
Amanda DeJesus , seeing it restored would be great. I am not getting any bad vibes from the property or the surrounding woods. Why call the house a witches house, I would think it maybe belonged to a herbalist. I would love to have a weekend there with friends when it gets renovated. ( If it gets renovated, that is.. )
I bet that house was beautiful in it's day. So peaceful and enchanted. It's almost like the big tree fell down to protect the house and keep people out. The hearth was magical.
Hello from Tallahassee, Fl.! What an extraordinary cottage. The forest where it sits is absolutely gorgeous and of course the cottage couldn’t be more beautifully placed. Thank you for such a wonderful glimpse of Denmark!
What a marvellous landscape!! Such a beautiful forest. It reminds me northern Spain's countryside and views, where by the way there are many stories about witches as well. Greetings from Spain!!
If I could I would buy this property and restore it using as much period material that could be acquired. It puzzles me how Hollywood, mill and billionaire's choose to spend tbeir $. This home and land is priceless. Beautiful! The energy, I can't imagine!
Jewelry Lore I completely agree with you, this cottage would be amazing to live in. Such a sense of peace and serenity about this pond and woodland, and the style of the cottage feels natural there...like it belongs. Restoration shouldn’t be all that costly either, especially as it is so close to electricity and water service.🖤🇨🇦
So sad such a pretty historical building has not been saved from ruin..the woods and the pond around there are so picturesque too..it could be a lovely home 😀
Hi from Southern California, in the United States, Sebastian. This is so fascinating, considering I've been reading about Hansel & Gretal too, since I was a child in the 60s & 70s. Thank you so, so much for filming this magical place
Wow. Cool house in the middle of the woods. I guess if you're a witch you have no need for a car. Having your own trusty flying broom will take ya wherever you need to go. Thanx for the video.
It’s awesome and amazing what u can find on you tube some times something for every kind of interest and the cool thing about you tube once they find out what you like one time there are allways more of the same interests stuff the next time u watch it it’s like it it’s a new friend saying hey so I know you love or like this look what I found for you here it’s really cool how it does that same with when you have I tunes so I love metal music and I will play one Cd on my I phone with Apple I tunes and then bingo it will say more for you or new music from so and so
Have you inquired about who the speaker was on the series "Sense of Direction"?. I would love having the opportunity to incorporate it into my own personal development. I'm about 40 years behind in my calling 😁💯. Thank-you Your video is wonderful. It reminds me of how the world sounded and felt (I could almost smell the memories too) 45-50 years ago. Such a lovely feeling.
Such an enchanting place and so sad that it has fallen into such disrepair although the disrepair in itself lends something to the atmosphere of the area. I am longing to visit it one day and also go to Læso (I’m not sure of the spelling) as this is where my father’s family is from. They had a big farm there but I think they are not there anymore but scattered, some in Copenhagen I think. I have never spoken to or met any of them. I live in Australia, my father came here at the end of WW2 and, sadly for me, rarely spoke of his home. I think what happened to him during the was made it too painful to speak of. Anyway, I hope one day to be able to visit for an extended period of time to fully explore his home land and perhaps learn the language of my father. Thank you for this beautiful tour of this hidden treasure :)
Aloha Sebastian Nils! Thank you for taking us to this beautiful and very historically significant home. I wonder if there are histirical societies in your country like in the U.S & U.K. that preserve & restore these remarkable treasures, there must be a society such as this in your country?
Are there photographs of it when it was built or before it was abandoned. I tried to lookup Peter Madsen Pedersen and wasn't coming up with much. 1901 to 1971 on Genie, a genealogical site. Very interesting.
That woods looks like the woods near my home in Surrey England where I grew up. Such a shame that house is left to disintegrate. Mind you I’m not sure I would want to live in such an isolated spot.
DVS efter dogmet, take one. No thanks. Not me. No way. MVH
Måske lidt mere afstand til mikrofonen kunne have hjulpet dog.

With a few ghosts lol
Amazing beautiful forest there untouched by cars and roads probably plenty of natural living for many natural wildlife in that area of the country as well what a cool looking house as well
This house comes with its own swamp pond, magical familiar rabbit and a sorcerer stone.
I'll take it!
Its a part of history, it would be really nice if this house was restored
Amanda DeJesus , seeing it restored would be great. I am not getting any bad vibes from the property or the surrounding woods. Why call the house a witches house, I would think it maybe belonged to a herbalist.

It's so sad to see a beautiful house like this laid to waste...
beautiful house and sorroundings........ I mean, really beautiful and should restore it now.
I bet that house was beautiful in it's day. So peaceful and enchanted. It's almost like the big tree fell down to protect the house and keep people out. The hearth was magical.

@ 7:56 OMG! The tree has grown around the sign! So oddly beautiful!
It its such a beautiful house
Must of been a very beautiful place.
Wow. Cool house in the middle of the woods. I guess if you're a witch you have no need for a car. Having your own trusty flying broom will take ya wherever you need to go. Thanx for the video.
It may be declared a historical site making it almost impossible for anyone to buy it and restore it. Doomed to turn to dust!
Great job,Sebastian !...Hey from DE !...Thanks for English subtitles!...Subscribed!..
Love the accent..so cool
Beautiful house and save house (became witch house museum magic) in the future.

Riktigt häftigt hus!
This place is simply magical. I wish it wasn't in such a state of decay.

Looks like the witchs house in the Hansel and Gretel movie. Lol
My dream home
I've been to denmark, but that was only the direct flight stop to Italy. I plan to go to denmark one day. (We stopped in Copenhagen).
Early May to late September is the best time.
🤔i wish i can visit there
IF I COULD ID DO IT UP AND LIVE IN IT

J Hearn I'm pretty sure It's not that far from civilisation as You believe. We don't really have any massive forests in Denmark.
very spooky
At 2:38 the translation of the name Flintholm is a bit off. Flintholm means Flint Island (Not iceland)

Be friends with her see if she’s good or evil is she’s into dark magic your basically dead
Real witches look after the environment, it is religion and Disney that made them into nasty old women.
I wanna be evil 😈 now
God video - men du bør lære at kontrollere dit åndedræt- der er for megen stønnen i din tale
