Yes it does have puddle lights. And it does have lights in all of the footwells and on the door trims in the interior. Be careful though you can spend upwards of $4k just repairing this car. In three years of ownership I've put in $4-6k alone in maintenance and odd repairs. I highly suggest you get this car when your older or get a cheaper car. Your 16 get something cheaper and good on gas :)

I have an 06 A8 I switched the lights and they started popping up on the dash, my friend said using aftermarket ones sometimes makes it go off but I see yours didn't do that so I was wondering where you bought them from? Please get back to me and thanks for the video it helped me a lot!
Gjonny Isufaj what bulbs did you replace the stock OEM ones with that are causing the error? If you're using LED fog light bulbs they are not pulling enough draw voltage and therefore that's why you receive the error.
Gjonny Isufaj the non error ones would be any standard halogen bulb. any HID or LED replacement generally throws a code. link me to what you bought and I can see for you.
Gjonny Isufaj so the bulbs ignite and turn on correct? regardless it seems like they are not pulling enough current. I doubt you'll be able to get it to work without the error as you'd need many resistors and there isn't a way to code it out. may have to use the Hoen xenonmatch bulbs I have

kole gojani push the outer corner in first, the corner closest to the center grill is where I start and then I just smack the outer piece in. Then just push with some effort. The clips will clip into place.
@Robert Regan on the a8 d3 is the fog light grille specific for 04-05 vs 06-11? Or if it's same style fog shape will grille from facelift fog fit the pre facelift?

Right now I need to replace mine daytime running lights and I would like to change my high beam lights (feel like they should be brighter) and hell while I'm at it change the fog lights too
+Jerry Kee The headlights are a huge PITA to replace. You must remove the airbox on the one side to gain further access, and remove the screws from the top of the headlight to pull the headlight out as far as you can to gain access to the HID box behind the light.
i got a8 and definitely thats not a car for a damn young boys... thats a car , u can kill someone pretty quick... it has more than 2 tons... have an 4.2 petrol and thats still pretty fast car , even it has more than 2 tons... had a w12 but the long wheelbase looks weird... sometimes theres expensive problem , but every problem can be solved:) do not buy a huge limousine.. im young enought to know whats better for u:) buy something lighter:)

Did the yellow light left to the foglight inside you car appear because of your work outside ?
You have to change settings using vcds. This will enable to option

No, it doesn't. I wouldn't disconnect it at all (at least in this car) while replacing any lights.
