In this series, I'm traveling with my amazing travel buddy and caregiver, Femke, as we explore wheelchair accessible destinations across Spain and Portugal. We're traveling with the unique wheelchair accessible camper van from ‪‪@roadtripforlife_nl‬!
In this episode, we head to the stunning Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain in inland Portugal. At nearly 2,000 meters high, the journey is packed with unexpected moments, breathtaking views, and that unbeatable feeling of standing on top of the world! ⛰

Definitely a place I want to visit myself one day. I also love mountains, despite they aren't the easiest of places for wheelchairs, especially electric ones. :)
