This was a fun commission... do you want to see more variations of "The Pencil"? Should they become products? Let me know... and always open for other commission work ;)
Well, let me start off by saying hellll yea brother. I am the 1st owner of this Gem.. thank you from my heart it was everything i wanted. The holsyer is extremely one of the best holsters i own.. the dagger came very veeeeeeery sharp its weight once in your palm is perfectly balanced.. the grip feels very nostolgic. The clip used is very tight for anyone trying to EDC or have it in SHTF truck glass breaker or even an a self defense situation.. thaaank you this i will 100% keep this in the family.. the twist of the entire dagger feels great and smooth..the dagger in the holster without the safety strap will not fallout ..amaging...earned a new subscriber
@@TheNewJankyWorkshop well my entire family kids lady mom dad dog and all watched it 3x on our tv 65 screen in living rm....you had a crowd of aplauses..
Well, I feel silly about the product you're wiping on as I found the blueing liquid in the link in your description. Still curious what metal you use to make this (and I guess 'pencil' as I see in the description. Sorry I'm new here, just found your channel 😊)😊
@@justinbanks2380 Hey man, no worries! Thanks for watching, and for the questions (and the kudos in the last comment)! "The Pencil" is a product I make as an awl/nail set/box opener/marking tool/etc. (whatever you can use a sharp pokey thing for, that is roughly about the size of a pencil). shop.thenewjankyworkshop.com/products/the-pencil I make them from 12" twisted steel landscaping nails. Came across a load of them randomly at a local ReStore years ago, and found a perfect application for them.
@@TheNewJankyWorkshop oh, cool! Thanks for taking the time to respond! I just watched the video where you made the pencil... And the one where you made the pencil holder out of a record. (Gonna be watching all of them soon 🙂) Amazing name for your channel by the way! Wish I had thought of that! As it definitely is an apt name for my workshop far more often than I would hope, lol. Although like they say, if it works...
@@justinbanks2380 Thanks man! A little history, I used to run the website for The New Yankee Workshop eons ago (did their first online video and online store work for them). I was however, not even remotely near into woodworking then sadly, when I had access to THE Norm himself. I'll never be at master craftsman level, that's for sure! I like to play with too many different genres, so, I'll always have a little jank in there somewhere. Seriously, thanks for watching (and sticking around)!. 🙏👊

And what kind of twisted metal is that you're using?
(Very cool btw)
