So glad I found your channel. You bring so much goodness that I don’t see on other channels, and I do love a variety of art ideas. I do think it’s important for us to also see the accidents to see how you work through them so others can see accidents, as you said, can be happy accidents. I have done Dollar Tree hauls but I don’t do them enough. I have seen in another of your videos that they may be growing their craft products. Loved your project, I love seeing your projects and videos. What kind of glue are you using to put your ephemera in the book you store them in? I think that is a wonderful idea and a way for wonderful storage and not take up a lot of space. I also would like to know where you get your eyelets for your crocodile?

Love this idea. I also have a bunch of blank Project Life cards that could be cut down for this.
Typewriter hint for folks that don't have one - there are a lot of free font websites that have old typewriter style fonts. Print your quote/verse out double spaced to make it easier to cut out.

Hi Ingrid, it was such a serendipitous happenstance for me to find you. I got a hold of some hanging folders in my parents stuff and I found my round circle things again and i was thinking that I need to use up some leather that I saved from an old couch that my parents had. Are you in Canada or Us…. Love that storing idea. I was doing mine in 9 x 11 sleeves in a binder (1 theme per binder ex. Journaling, boys & sports, Christmas, spring & summer, fall, winter as they are easier to find for me) on the original clear plastic they are stuck to from the store.. but I love this idea too especially for the journaling.
It’s honestly the best method I have found to date! I replied your other comment with more info on the book 💗💗💗 My favorite part is that it’s all visible and ready to use! I am a bit impatient and sometimes pull the pieces off but honestly, you could just put your project next to the page to see if they would work before doing that 😂💗🫶🏼

It’s called a cropadile and it punches holes in 2 sizes and sets the metal pieces (which are called eyelets) 💗💗💗 Thank you for your comment…let me know if you have any other questions 🥰

It’s coming soon! That is terrible! As a matter of fact whenever I look them up online, it is hard to find sizing…like they’re all a little different…very frustrating!
I still have a typewriter. I'm afraid one of these days I won't be able to get the ribbons for it. I have one question - why didn't you type the phrase like you were going to glue then on instead of having to cut them apart? Was it for the look you wanted? It reminds me of the old ransom notes people made. Just curious. Thanks!
Haha! When I was cutting it up I was thinking the same thing! 😂 I typed it with the intent of cutting it out and using it the way I did (or at least some variation of that) I think that the cut up words floating on the page give it some character, like an old scrapbook 🥰

Amazon and Staples both carry typewriter ribbons
Yes I got mine in Amazon. If I’m remembering correctly, they are pretty universal and only a few types, you should be able to identify which fits yours. But in case you can’t, google the exact name of your typewriter and you should be able to find the exact model of ribbon 💗💗💗
My typewriter is somewhere in the basement. 🤪

I love everything creative so I mean no disrespect but can someone enlighten me what the purpose of a junk journal is? Sincerely, 20th century woman.
Absolutely! The short answer is… it’s anything you want it to be! You can use a junk journal as a journal or diary, you can use it for memory keeping, you could use it as a calendar, or you can just use it as a piece of art, just to name a few 💗 Originally the term junk journal was coined from making journals out of actual trash or discarded items from around your house. You can definitely still do that or do newer items or a mix of both. 💗💗💗

@@karatootie don’t know the exact time stamp, but she was tearing the page with numbers, tearing off the blank spots, and referred to it as blank text. I took that to mean the blank paper.
Are yo sticking the ephemera onto Plastic or paper??? What kind of book is it you are putting the ephemera onto or into…size and name of the company and where you found this ? Michaels… dollar tree?
Sarah, I do this too. You can use anything to put your ephemera stickers on. Use a big book with pretty thick pages if you have one🤷♀️. I put a little dot of glue on the back and stick them on the pages. Don’t pull the paper off the back tho. Leave that on. Then you have a book of stickers to choose from. It’s perfect if you have a big sketch book to use. The paper is thicker and pages are blank.

Sarah, I have a full video showing you exactly what I use and how. It’s linked in the description (about 1/2 way down) It’s a mixed media sketchbook that I got at 5 below and I use a glue runner to add a little dab of glue 💗 Just as Jane said, any thick paper will work 💗💗💗
