I'm so happy that I saw this, because I have a ton of these tubes. I use them to make little treat rollers for our two cats. Anyway, I am so happy to see a way to use them like this for journals. I have a history in paper craft, but I'm brand new with junk journaling and I can't wait to get started! I have been saving envelopes for about a month, and have retrained my eyes with the mail and - basically - the world around me, for items that can be reused in an artistic way. My son just got engaged last month, and I ordered a 3.5 lb. lot of old/damaged but perfect for this vintage sheet music with graphics that will be ideal for this. They are largely romantic melodies!! They have their engagement dinner coming up in October, and I hope to get accomplished enough through practice to make her either a wedding planner journal OR (or AND) a family recipe journal. :) Their date is way far off, so there's lots of time for her to enjoy a planner. Anyway, I love that I can use all that great FREE cardboard in our paper towels and toilet paper! Thanks!!
