Bad translation, but the video description gives us a date it happened, saying
This boy came to Thuy's spa with severe inflammatory skin condition after 6 months of ineffective treatment. Before coming to Thuy for the first time, a month ago his mother contacted Thuy to arrange work, the time went directly to the spa due to the geographical distance. Everyone cares about him, Thuy will try to do the best she can to make his facial skin better.
The video was made for the first time on April 22, 2023 at the Beauty Spa.

Not 4th session. This still the first visit/session. The first 6 vids GY P1 thru GY P6 are the 1st visit alone!. Each vid is just moving around to areas of his face.
Next 2 visits also 6 vids each in number order. The visits 4 thru 6 have less multiple vids as his face gets better.
Total amount is 26 videos are for 6 visits over 6 weeks.
Why are some people on this thread stupid with their comments?? Don't these people know how painful his sessions are?? Do they not know that this patient will get rinses and blood/pus/sebum sunctioned throughout his sessions. Anyone complaining should get their butts off her channel. That's my opinion and if some people don't like my opinion I couldn't care less. Also, if you are not a tech, esthetician, or dermatologist, why in the hell are you giving Thuy advice?? Thuy to me is the best, and there are plenty of examples of how good she is by looking at her other videos, starting with The Hung Series. Now... if anyone comes at me, I will come back harder. Have a good one... And a shout out to Thuy for helping this client and the client allowing us to view his journey while in pain... Thank you, client and Thuy!!
@Maria Frapolli Agree with your post. I even read a comment the clients should shave before going to their session. Shave!! How could he or others shave with acne like or similar to his. It's totally impossible. Those complaining it screams me me me and not the client. You can hear his sniffles, and moaning... And those giving Thuy, who is a licensed esthetician, and much more than that giving her advice are ridiculous. They should go to another channel or put a cork in it. That's my opinion or thoughts. Perhaps you could put a cool towel on the parts of the face that you are not working on, such as the forehead, so that the pain would be reduced. I feel so bad for this young man.
I’d want a sink filled with water and ice cubes to stick my whole face in! I don’t know what the post-treatment includes, but something cooling sounds important.

The improvements are visible already. The pustules are smaller. There is not the huge crumbly crusts from the impetigo (bacterial skin infection caused by a Staph bacteria). The inflammation is less, though still very present. The contents of the blackheads are drier and beginning to form into the "rice-like" plugs from the soft white globs. This will be a long process, perhaps longer than Hung, particularly because he will have more post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (the brown color where inflammation was) than Hung. This can take up to a year to fade, sometimes is permanent. This will be another epic series and I thank Thuy and her client for sharing his story. (I am a retired physician, so I speak with accurate knowledge about his skin condition. )
This is still part of his first visit. His face is so bad and each video part is only around 9-11min long it will take at least 6 or more videos on the first visit. This vid is just a smaller part of his face that isn't so bad. You can see soaked gauze pieces near where she worked on. They are part of the last video Part 3.
@Bonnie Brock Thank you for pointing this out. You are right. The sides of his face are so much better than the center that it fooled me. I just feel for him. I've had a few really painful pimples in my teens but absolutely nothing like this and I was a total weenie when Mom tried cleaning them out. Thanks again, Bonnie, for correcting me. I hope the center of his face catches up with the sides in a hurry. The first 3 videos made me cringe for him.(and his mom). Thuy is a courageous woman. I should have noticed too that Thuy was wearing the same blouse.😮
@@janisedenton4242 Yeah this is closer near/on his jawbone and farther back on his cheek. When they have it so large that Thuy thumb/fingers are they size of a giant's then it isn't that big of an area. lol

The post acne scars and marks will take at least a few years to clear. He will then need medication like retacnyl tretinion to train the skin to “behave”, improve skin texture and re-build the collagen. It will take at least a few years to see results. Perhaps Thuy has some faster methods and procedures which can be price hefty to improve skin texture for clients recovering from serious acne.

One of the main reasons I keep returning to this channel are the respectful and kind comments, for both the client and the technician. If there any people armchair quarter-backing, calling out, "empty the 'pours'," or criticizing the amount of blood produced, they are drowned out by the people who support the technicians and empathize with the clients.

I’m not sure which one is more severe… Gy or Hung…. But what I know for sure is that he came to the right person for treatment. Thuy is a pro at what she do. This lady has receipts of successful treatment. It’s painful Gy… but hang in there kiddo… ur in good hands!

To me this looks as if it might be due to an endocrine disorder of some sort. An over abundance of testosterone would account for both the acne and the copious amounts of facial hair. Can’t say for sure, obviously, but the symptoms fit… Hopefully he will be successful in managing his condition. I know he’s in good hands with Thuy!

Did you not read the posts on her video of this client. What she is doing is removing some of the inflamed pores from pus/sebum and whatever, and he will then have a rinse and suction for blood and so on left. You have to know the session is painful. So she is going slow, same as she did with Hung...

He is in great hands I’ve seen her work with others who have had as bad of skin and their skin ended up being beautiful. I was trying to translate what his mother was saying to him. Thuy hasnt said much except "try harder", which, in Vietnamese sounds kinder. 😊 All i know was that his mother was very supportive, and may have said something like she couldn't bear it. These translation apps work better for the written word. Thank you for the information you shared. I really have faith that Thuy will get him cleared up, and after trying spas in Taiwan, then flying to Vietnam, it sounds like he is motivated to do the work. ❤😊

@@brianredban9393 well this kid is probably between 13 & 15 and is handling this debridement with stoicism. A lot of kids his age cry and squirm and their acne isn’t nearly as bad. Sure he’s not a soldier fighting battle but yes, he is indeed being brave.

This young guy is one of the reasons I went into skin care. My older brother had cystic acne, and he became emotionally and physically pained due to his condition. My ❤ goes out to this strong willed patient. I hope he’s doing better.,

This client has a long road ahead, but Thuy is definitely the right person to clear his skin. If he can hang in there despite the pain, he will be so happy with the results.
The painful step of treatment for the client (especially with such an actively inflamed face) but it’s so amazing to watch for us. Opening those pores, removing the keratin and goo clogging them is just one important step in the process. Thankfully the rest is less stressful for the client. I just hope that they are able to get some medication to deal with the inflammatory response and dry up the oil production as well. Either way, long time watching Thuy, she gets results.

For the critical comments, people have to understand that not only Healthcare systems are different in every country, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Taiwanese etc. skin is DIFFERENT than white, black, Latino skin!! Even Japanese, Korean, Chinese skin is different. So different methods are used that are not understood by many. Just try to remember the world is huge and DIFFERENT. Thuy helps her clients tremendously. Blessed be to her and her kindness and generosity. ❤

I feel like she digs in too much with her thumb and causes unnecessary trauma that you can see in his face the ridges where her thumb pressed in. Some q tips or cotton wool pressing more gently would cause less trauma to
the skin.

Please use more tools. For example, at 4:00 the scab should be removed with tweezers, and then a syringe with sterile saline can be used to flush out pore.
Why are these videos so short?! They went from being detailed 1hr long to a sample serving of 10/11 minutes…
