It's very painful when you have this severe type of acne. So it's no wonder it hurts him. The scalpel is the smallest problem. Just touching this skin hurts, every movement you make hurts. It's not the scalpel it's the pushing but you feel so much better when all the pus is finally out

He's on antibiotics. In Vietnam antibiotics are available over the counter without prescriptions. Someone at the top of the comments translated and Thuy was asking his mother if he'd been taking the tablets and drinking more juice as Thuy had advised. His mother said yes he is and he'd been drinking coconut water as well.

Also there's a good chance as bad as his case is that he's seen another dermatologist in Vietnam. Thuy sometimes works hand and hand with dermatologists.

@@4EverGoth IF he is on a retinoid, IF?? it will bring the comedones to the surface over time. Retinoids take 1-3 weeks to take effect, can look worse until then, so the instructions warn. 🤷♂ All the swelling in the skin seems to bring the comedones to the surface, too.

I had something like this but not as bad and I noticed every time I went to fla for vacation I would get in the ocean every day during the week within 5 or 6 days the acne would dry up I put a bowl of salt water by my bed and rubbed on my face at night and they finally went away don’t know if works for everyone but it sure helped me

I had something like this but not as bad and I noticed every time I went to fla for vacation I would get in the ocean every day during the week within 5 or 6 days the acne would dry up I put a bowl of salt water by my bed and rubbed on my face at night and they finally went away don’t know if works for everyone but it sure helped me
Salt water is a great antiseptic, was the same for me when I got away on holiday and surfed alot it cleared up my acne.

@@melissalemmons549 Yes. While Hung had extensive lesions, there wasn't the inflammation that there is here.
She's been working oh him steadily and it's still such an uphill battle
Part 7! His skin is starting to improve. Still lots of infection and inflammation for Thuy to remove. Rooting for this young man❤❤❤

Yes she did. If you actually watched the entire series and the commentary you would know that. You would also know this patient has been to a doctor and it didn't get better, so the doctor referred him here.

You’ll get there eventually don’t lose hope I had acne as a teenager and I remember feeling like it would never clear but it will god bless you and remember it won’t last forever
This looks like more serious than teenage acne 😱😱 this person needs meds and proper topical care (it looks like the person doesn't take basic care of the face). These treatments make the skin much worse.
When that big scab was removed and she took those roots out.. boy, amazing. Thank you Thuy and GY and mum for sharing your journey. There are a few more sessions before the extractions and medications will really kick in, but it must be so nice for him not to have so much pain and soreness.
