I'm so happy to see you've re found your love of reading this year. I'm a big reader and I was as a kid but fell out of it for a little while until I found the online book community in 2016 and then I got back into it and it's brought such a comfort and joy into my life since then and has taught me so much. So it just makes me really happy to see others discover their joy of reading as well. And I'm loving your bookish ASMR videos. I can't wait to see more from you in the future. 😌
And I've heard of some of these books but I don't own any of them. I am currently in the midst of reading the first Throne of Glass book though. I'm about halfway through now. And now that you said it's one of your favorite series in your previous video, I'm even more excited to continue reading it.
I like all different genres of books, but lately I've been favoring contemporary books based around romance or tight friendships, or mystery/thriller books. I would love to find a new favorite fantasy series though because I haven't had a new one since I was a teenager. I'm 26 now, so I'm open to reading YA, NA, or adult books. So I'm really enjoying seeing the different ones your buying/reading. You've introduced me to some I want to check out now. 😊

i've been watching your videos since around 2018 and i just wanna say that you're probably my most favourite asmrtist! i love your whispering voice~ i have misophonia and i get easily triggered by mouth sounds. sometimes it even gets triggered when i'm watching asmrtists and they whisper in this weird way where i can hear the sounds from inside their mouth (??), but for some reason i never experienced that discomfort even once with your videos

Hi Maddi, I doubt you will ever see this with how many comments you get, but I love your videos. Have been watching you for years and you are my favorite ASMRTIST. But, I wanted to say that yes, I absolutely love fantasy books. Specifically YA and NA. I'm working on my first novel right now. It's an older YA PNR. Called, Divinity's Keys. Anyway, just wanted to say that. :)

After watching this I added SEVERAL to my already long list of books to read. Most importantly have you read house of earth and blood by Sarah J Maas? Because I really really really think you’d like it. Next to the crave series it is also my favorite book ever. I respect the shit out of Sarah J Maas for building a world from the ground up and putting comedy, with action, with mysteries and murder solving all in one book based on a city (the crescent city) that she literally built and like some of those books in this video, Maas provides a map on the city in the front pages of the book. It’s amazing.
I have it on my shelf but haven’t read it! Tbh I’m kind of waiting until book 2 comes out so I can read them together 🤣 I completely agree, Throne of Glass is one of my favorites for many reasons and one of them is because the world is so in depth and detailed it’s crazy! Have you read Gild or Savage Lands? I wonder if you’d like them because they’re in my top 5 along with ACOTAR and TOG!
