Hey sweethearts! I hope you like the video. I’ll film a new tour once I get more books and put new shelves up. Please let me know if you have any requests for the next book shelf tour, I may film it in a different way where I’m actually holding the camera and showing you everything :) Thank you for watching!! What book are you reading right now?
I’m reading false witness by Karin slaughter it’s a mystery novel Leigh Collier has worked hard to build what looks like a normal life. She’s an up-and-coming defense attorney at a prestigious law firm in Atlanta, would do anything for her sixteen-year-old daughter Maddy, and is managing to successfully coparent through a pandemic after an amicable separation from her husband Walter. But Leigh’s ordinary life masks a childhood no one should have to endure … a childhood tarnished by secrets, broken by betrayal, and ultimately destroyed by a brutal act of violence. On a Sunday night at her daughter’s school play, she gets a call from one of the firm's partners who wants Leigh to come on board to defend a wealthy man accused of multiple counts of rape. Though wary of the case, it becomes apparent she doesn't have much choice if she wants to keep her job. They're scheduled to go to trial in one week. When she meets the accused face-to-face, she realizes that it’s no coincidence that he’s specifically asked for her to represent him. She knows him. And he knows her. More to the point, he may know what happened over twenty years ago, and why Leigh has spent two decades avoiding her past. It’s very intriguing ! I highly recommend it Madi ❤️🙏
@@dannyambrose8337 she’s calling you sweetheart and you are calling her beautiful. It might be the beginning of a wonderful love story good luck, but go slow, don’t be intimate on the first date with madi . That never works out well for anyone
I've just finished A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes, which is basically the story of Troy from the women's perspective. Utterly absorbing and a terrific read, I'm recommending it to everyone!
I use a blow dryer, aimed at the sticker.. the warm air helps to loosen the goo and the gently peel them away.. works almost every time for me. If there is any reaidue left, you can use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and gently rub it away. I hope you're able to get the sticker off!
I love your bookish ASMR videos. I'm really into books myself and I love seeing how passionate you are about reading and the books you love. I'd love to see more bookish content from you if you'd like to do it. Maybe you could do a book tag soon? There's a bunch of different ones to choose from. But I think that could make a really nice video if you're up for it. 🙂
Books + ASMR = HAPPINESS!!! I keep seeing City of Thorns on my Kindle app show up....I just finished the Bargainer series and Savage the Swan so I may have to try that one out....after I finish my second re-read of ACOTAR I'm diving into Crescent City 🌆...oh the dark element series was fun to read. I loved Roth ❤️
Please do a playlist with all your bookish videos in. Asmr and books are peak relaxation for me and my reader friends. Have you read crescent city 2, the ending was so good. One of my top series ever
Ahhh Madi!! I’m SO happy about this video 😍 you were actually the one who got me into fantasy/romance books! I’m reading the TOG series rn and I love it 🥰
I've never watched a video like this and just stumbled upon it. Your book taste is right up my alley and I love ASMR! I'd love more content like this, I loved it❤️
Omg the Warriors books are so nostalgic! They used to be my absolute favorite! I would love to be able to read them for the first time again Definitely have to come back to this video for reading inspo!
I would love a no-talking version of this, where it’s just a bunch of taking books on and off the shelf, flipping through the pages, fingerpad tapping on the books, stroking the covers.
You can use a little bit of nail polish remover on a cotton ball to help loosen and then clean up the residue from a sticker. If you just use a bit it wont damage the cover.
Interesting and wide collection of books Madi, I liked it 👍🏻. Judging by the types of books you like reading, I would recommend you check out The Red Wing Saga by Sharon K. Gilbert, all six books. I think they're the type of subject matter you would enjoy reading. Just a suggestion. As for me, I just finished reading Gods and Heroes Of Ancient Greece by Gustav Schwab, which explains the origins of the Greek gods and heroes and events like Troy and the Odyssey, cool things if you like mythology and such. I got another book that I haven't start reading yet but I will soon, Zeitgeist 2025 by Thomas Horn.
If you like Jennifer Armentrout and prefer new adult books I highly recommend the Titan series by her. The first book is The Return. She does have a prequel series before the Titan series, which is also very good but it’s ya, but you don’t have to read the prequel first. The Titan series is a complete and it’s 4 books. Highly recommend
This was chef's kiss perfect for me Madi! I love that it was whispered, the finger tapping, and of course all the books! Are you on Goodreads? I look forward to another one when you get your new shelves. 💗📚📖
If you want to add some reading to your list that is both intelligent and funny then you should read Terry Pratchett's Disc World Series. Some of the best books I've ever read.
Must be very difficult for all these writers to choose a cool title for a new book. All the good ones must already be taken. Evetually there will be a “Throne of Broccoli” or a “Kingdom of Ashes and Double Strawberry Milkshake”
I just finished reading Hellstrom's Hive (Frank Herbert), I don't particularly recommend it because the ending doesn't feel like an ending.😬🙄 Great video anyway, good night everyone😊🥰!
When I was little, my brother and dad would have a Harry Potter reading contest during the summer. You'd pick up one of the books and find 2 different bookmarks. I also do a little writing in my spare time, but it's very "R" rated, and it only makes sense to me.
Either I must’ve missed it in your video or you don’t have it, but I don’t see my world famous book “Decision Points” which has a 3.9 rating at Barnes and Noble
Heat and steam to get stickers off. Of course you have to be careful not to damage the jacket. You can use a razor blade very carefully to see if you can work on the sticker without affecting the cover. I'd try a hair drier focused on the sticker first. Careful, you can easily burn out a hair drier by restricting the flow. Don't ask how I know.
You should check out the dark hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Great mix of fantasy and romance. Great taste in books! If you don't mind the lack of romance(mostly) the Mistborn series and really everything by Brandon Sanderson is elite level fantasy
It would be a couple of weeks of vids for me to go through all of my bookshelves. lol But glad you spend a lot of time reading. And I too, stack up a lot of books to be read in the future. Gives me something to look forward to in retirement. (Which is soon...)
I love these videos ! I need to work on my bookshelf too. Ps,. I can’t believe you haven’t read HP! So so good. I’ve been really into thrillers right now. Just finished ‘Verity’ by Colleen Hoover and ‘The guest list’ by Lucy Foley.
you should read the legend series. it’s 3 books: legend, prodigy, and champion. not at all what i thought. it’s a love story embedded in a thriller, dystopian type theme. i read it back in middle school and it’s been my favorite series ever since. i wanna say i’ve read them 4 or 5 times
I love this ASMR, would you ever consider reading us these books in sections? Maybe chapter by chapter? Nothing too long cause I'm sure you have a life.
Hello there and thanks for this great video. I usually watch your videos to get those heavenly tingles and slowly fall asleep. But this one was something else. I was wide awake, listening carefully and taking notes. I'm 27 and a book addict however this genre (new adult fantasy romance) is somehow new to me. I rarely read fantasy books. Tolkien aside, I remember reading Emily Rodda's (Jennifer Rowe) Deltora series and I used to love them as a kid. The characters, the adventures, The mild Romance. But that was some 10 15 years ago. My recent read was The Testaments by Atwood but now I am trying your all-time favorite: Acotar. I have baught the original trilogy and I have read 11 chapters of the first book. Maas is growing on me (some pun intended). So far so captivating. I'm planning to go for her Crescent series too after finishing Acowar. I'm still not sure about Acofas and Acosf. It depends on the original trilogy. I've also heard much about Kerri Maniscalco in book communities. If Maas can convince me, I will probably go for her sjtr series first and then her kotw series as well. My readings includes (with some examples): - Philosophical books (Jostein Gaarder, Friedrich Nietzsche, Gibran Khalil Gibran) - Psychological books (Carl Jung, Irvin D. Yalom, Xavier Crement) - Magical Realism books (Gabriel García Márquez, Haruki Miakami, Mario Vargas Llosa) - Dystopian books (George Orwell, Yevgeny Zamyatin, Margaret Atwood, Aldous Huxley) - Spiritual books (Paulo Coelho, Mitch Albom, Matt Haig) - Plays (Henrik Ibsen, Samuel Beckett, William Shakespeare) - Russian Classics (Leo Tolstoy, Mikhail Bulgakov, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Anton Chekhov, Nikolai Gogol) - English and American Classics (Charles Dickens, JD Salinger, Ernest Hemingway, F Scott Fitzgerald) - Persian Literature (Sadeq Hedayat, Houshang Golshiri, Mahmoud Dowlatabadi, Abbas Maroufi) - Classic Persian Literature (Ferdowsi, Rumi, Saadi, Omar Khayyam)
This is cool. Sadly I had to give up feeding physical books well over a decade ago. It's too bad I had a nice collection of books now they're all packed away. However, it doesn't mean I can't enjoy a nice audio story here and there :-). You keep up that reading whether you're actually reading a book or listening to a story it can take you to another world another place and it's very enjoyable :-)
Madi you look so much prettier these recent videos. This hair fits you well and have a good match with your eyes. I'd like to have a book shelf like yours, all my books are unorganized
Hey sweethearts! I hope you like the video. I’ll film a new tour once I get more books and put new shelves up. You can use a little bit of nail polish remover on a cotton ball to help loosen and then clean up the residue from a sticker. If you just use a bit it wont damage the cover.

From Blood and Ash is what got me back into reading too! The ACOTAR was the following series, I can tell we have very same taste😂
Honeydew artwork💀🤣😂

Underrated video ngl

Could you do another ASMR as a mom? The video of you reorganizing your kids games is one of my favorites
Wow!

If you haven’t, read the Wind on Fire Trilogy. Fantasy series from the early 2000s that is phenomenal.
Thanks for the relaxing video Madi! I don't read much but i've lately started the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson
You should check out the dark hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Great mix of fantasy and romance. Great taste in books! If you don't mind the lack of romance(mostly) the Mistborn series and really everything by Brandon Sanderson is elite level fantasy
