When discussing the greatest position players of all time, there’s always so much debate, except for the catcher position. Johnny by a long shot.
Y’all are growing so much. Amazing interview guys!
Appreciate it J! Thank you!
Johnny Bench on the show?? this is about to be a banger episode
Big guest. Love it. Great discussion.
The goat!
Johnny bench best Cather of all time lots of close second place players yogi Berra carton Fisk Ivan Rodriguez Roy campela good show today.
Yogi is the only one who comes close but Johnny is clearly the GOAT.
this is diesel. congrats fellas
I know he's not in the top 5 all time, but when I was a kid growing up in Detroit I was a huge Tigers fan and Bill Freehan was a really good catcher played a long time he was just one of my favourites!
is 84-3 all time as a starting pitcher good?? i’ll hang up and listen
Top 5 that I saw play.
1. Johnny
2. Carlton Fisk
3. Pudge
4. Mike Piazza
5. Gary Carter
Yea, I know I didn't include several HOF's, but I didn't see several play either. Just an opinion.
1- Johnny Bench
2- Yogi Berra
3- Josh Gibson
4- Roy Campanella
5- Carlton Fisk
Didn’t realize from the title that this was going to be a video on medicine.
I was a Munson fan. he gets killed in a plane crash but he had at least 5 more years in him and in 1979 he played hurt the whole season. Thurman Munson took offense and felt belittled to not getting any credit when compared to Bench or Fisk. to their credit they were both better but Munson was a great one too and he was maybe more clutch a hitter. Reds manager Sparky Anderson is miked up for the world series and the Reds cannot get Munson out who finishes the series with 6 straight hits for a .529 average. making a pitching change Sparky finally acknowledges Munson saying over and over he can flat hit cant he? then Rose chimes in and they all do. Munson stats would be so much better but he is killed and for that I say he belongs in the HOF
That was fire
Wasn’t it!
Love you Johnny Bench but I've got Carlton Fisk as my #1 all-time, your #2 and very close to #1 but Fisk gets the nod due to his longevity, you know what, it's a fucking tie!
And yet bench had more homers , more RBI’s had a lung removed and revolutionized the position
Top 1 Catchers Of All Time: Johnny Bench
Bench = Class
He blew a lot umpires...liked to suck it
yogi berra no cathcer has as many world series rings as he does
Yogi was the best. It was his leadership, more than anything else, that was the core of the dynasty. He was the Bill Russell of baseball.
I'd take Campy over anyone else I ever saw
My dad saw both Gibson and bench he told me bench couldnt carry JOSHs bat. Believe it!!!!!!!!!!
Lololol!
Your dad is certainly entitled to his opinion.
Top Catcher of all time......Yogi Berra.....check his numbers, world series stats...rings....etc...
It's clearly Johnny Bench. Check most lists and polls and stop living in fantasy land.
Hilarious!
I thought Sanguillen was better than Bench.
Yogi 1 Johnny 2
Lololol!
Yogi Berra was better
