Probably my least favorite list I’ve seen from y’all. I don’t consider half of these players as Utility players and Dylan Moore not even an honorable mention? Ha Seong Kim is just a 2B or SS full time. Not a Utility. Same with Cronenworth.

Don't forget rhe Nats might draft Ethan Holliday, a 3B, SS prospect. And the Angels Jace Laviolette. These are 2 potential stars. If the Angels trade for Pablo Lopez (Adell, Detmers?), a bona fide #1 starter, draft Laviolette, they would still have money for another bat. At some point, this team is going to do something, I would think.

Braves aren't gonna do anything. For one, Anthopoulos thinks Kelenic is prime Bonds and Arcia is prime A-Rod. Both will be here for 15 years. For two, since Anthopoulos got his big extension last January all he's done is cut payroll and bring back washed 2021 Braves because they're his friends. He does not care about upgrading the team or winning. I don't believe there was a Jeff Hoffman deal, I think that's all PR. He probably hasn't made a single phone call all offseason and won't until he calls Eddie Rosario on March 17th.

Jay’s could maybe go long term with a bunch of the money deferred. The prospect of him and Vladdy at the heart of your order for the next half decade is pretty scary. I think management believes they can get enough out of Wagner/Clement at 3rd. If they can get Alonso to agree to around $20ish this year,$25, 30,35, 40…. Something like that. I think that might be the hesitation/slowdown is working that arrangement out. That way they can grab Santander as well and still have some wiggle room to sign Roki/and or another minor addition to the bullpen and stay under that $241 million number

Think this is a very generous assessment of Alonso. Look at this season numbers, he's still a good 1B but he looks pretty clearly to be on the decline. Think he and Boras have overplayed their hand quite a bit

Ohtani is not in the rotation until at least May and I’d bet it’s actually June before we see him pitch two games in a row. The Dodgers will be shuffling 9/10 pitchers in and out of the ‘rotation’ all year. In fact, I bet they don’t even use the word rotation internally at all. They were one of the first teams to change the mental frame from games/starts to innings.

I think what puts Schwarber at 5 ahead of Yelich and Carpenter for me is the health and consistency. Yelich and Carpenter have really struggled to stay on the field, but Schwarber has been extremely healthy. He also isn't a platoon bat like Kerry
