Love military surplus, been getting it for over 40yrs, that’s all we had! including clothing .Most of my gear is old school but I do like some of the modern stuff. I just ordered that AF survival vest, a piece of gear I have been wanting for a long time but did know where to get it so thanks for this video!

Got back myself from a 95°f+ ruck today. The GG Chief Patrol continues to build on the value reputation it already had with me.
I dont know of any still being actively issued, so the fact One Thief has gotten their hands on so many good condition, and even new, is impressive to say the least. And they offer them at really good prices too, if I didn't already have 2 I'd pick one up from them for sure.

that vest would make a great fishing vest, organize your tackle without having to use a bigger tackle box if you have to hike to your fishing spots

How does this hydration system work?I mean you have to suck the water all the way up if the canteen is on your belt.Or you hang the canteen upside down in the shoulderhight?
It works fine just mounting it normally with the cap up. When it's run through the cap and pushed all the way in it creates enough of a seal that you get a good vacuum so it's really easy to drink whether it's on your belt or like mine on the side of my backpack.
Gotta work on your suction. Lol

Back in the old days we made one with IV tubing. It felt like you sucked your head inside out.

No more of a camo cover
good prices but the site is random, no organization
anyway my military surplus gear has gotten STICKY
the waterproof urethane coating has gone off
so I'm OFF of surplus
but my old ALICE gear is still pristine
It's unorganized like every surplus store because they get whatever is available on pallets. They sell whatever comes through the door. Changes all the time
