Hey Mike, recently I have shifted from websites as I found that they weren't worth it, as some clients take you for a ride. I made a database of potential clients and contacted them directly. I told them what I had to offer (Rather that telling them, "Give me your money!".) and after a brief screening period, I'm getting A LOT more stable & better paying jobs

@@RN10000 The trick is to retain them by maintaining quality and maintaining cordial relationships. And on your Sundays, look for new ones and add them to your database. Even if they don't call back, don't worry...if they like your work they will keep you in mind. Additionally, don't forget to follow up each month, BUT don't be pushy! Hope this was helpful! Can I still get fiverrs choice badge if I waited 4 years before actually using my fiver profile?
Fiverr selects these, so I don’t see why not assuming your gig is performing well and meets fiverrs criteria for fiverrs choice

I complete 45 orders on my Fiverr profile. and in my 1 gigs I complete 35 order, I am qualified for promoted gig option but fiverr not giving me the promoted option😭😭. and my gig impression is very low. all the orders I get from my linkdin client. now I am very disappointed with this. can I open new fiverr with new gigs. what can I do now? please help me! How can I get promoted option? do you have any videos about that?
As a beginner i don't have any work done so the samples that we provide to the clients are the one that i wrote by my own by deconstructing the existing work....so while uploading my sample should i also attach the original copy of the same brand...or just send them the sample....i didn't launched any gig yet..please help me out

For me, i was surfing on upwork, and people have posted job listings like “illustration for children’s book” and are paying like 35 dollars which is not good (considering how difficult illustrations can get). And logo designs for $5 ???? How is that even legal?
People are free to charge whatever they want for their services, this is not something unique to freelance platforms

I've heard of so many people that Freelancer is not as great cause they've lost money on it and they would do a job and the person who they did it for just disappears and stuff like that
That sounds like a bad client, not necessarily that freelancer as a platform is bad
