Hi, Mike, I have been following you for a while and you've been the motivation for me for learning this skill from scratch!!. well I have been the victim of buying these expensive courses but it is not worthwhile for me, but surely I am going to buy this book of yours to improve my basic concept of this skill.

To me the real dark side of copywriting is when you break your morals to write a copy in order to manipulate the audience, just like the clickbank stuff. You exagerate stuff, make things up with false claims. A lot of beginners fall into this and think it is the right way while it's not.
Where you’re wrong is that good copy is not about “manipulating” or “exaggerating” it’s about showing the value of a product or service and connecting it to what a buyer sees as important. But unfortunately like everything there are people with bad intentions in every industry.
what u can do is pretend ur writing for sm1, choose 5 ecom brands or personal brands in a diff niche and ask chatgpt to rate it from 1 to 10 w the input of “ can you please rate my copy for (example) on a scale from 1 to 10” then ask it to rewrite it to a 10, give ur human touch and boom when u get 9s and 8s go for outreach, now u know how to practice
