since you already got the expensive ingredients, i wonder if it's possible to make them again and then make a cheaper version. like, go to a regular store that doesn't send you into debt from just buying a dozen items, and buy similar items and see if you can recreate it to taste the same, or better, to see if the money you pay for those smoothies is really worth it or if it's just stupidly overpriced

I mean I’m sure you could make something cheaper that tastes the same but I’m p sure you’re paying for the fancy ingredients with all the benefits with the actual smoothie and not really the taste. But for people that just want to try it for the flavor I’m sure it’s possible

I have a feeling a place like that wants people to feel judged 😅 kinda like how gucci/Prada/designer clothing store employees aren’t nice to people if they don’t perfectly fit their idea of what a rich person should look like
I agree with the other commenter, I don't think they care about judging people. They want to seem exclusive and extra to get rich people to buy their subpar smoothies. You'd probably get way better smoothies at your local organic or whole foods store. Probably for half the price too.
That's the vibe they're going for. Sending them this message would prove to them they're doing everything right. They want it to be an exclusive and elite experience. They're not targeting regular people. They don't want our pennies. They want people who want to feel better than us because they shop there. You don't feel like you belong because you don't.

I literally have a smoothie place nearby that has large smoothies for less than $10 and they come with three free nutrients of your choice… I am terrified of LA
Not judging I do it all the time but spend 30$ on ingredients of just fresh or frozen foods and blend them yourself to make 10 smoothies

If yall were curious about cost, I was too lazy to do Bella’s, but the blue one was about $7-$9 and the strawberry was $8-$10. Im doing ranges cuz idk the exact price of some of the random items but I got the price for each of the more costly things like the milk, sea moss, avocado, collagen, etc. So even at their own retail prices theyre making bank (obv using the products themselves costs them less than a consumer buying them)
FYI, the rule of restaurants is that they need to sell the food for 3x their cost to make the food to even think about making money. They’ve got to pay for employees as well as the building itself and all the equipment inside, and the utilities to keep the lights on.

out of all of the youtubers who move to LA i really appreciate andrew staying grounded and socially conscious and graceful and humble i just love that through all of his growing he's stuck to his morals and guts. not to say he would have taken any other route but i just really appreciate him and how he creates content and talks in such a frank and authentic way

If you’re willing, since you already have the ingredients, could you try having one of the smoothies once or twice a week for a month or two, and report if you’ve actually noticed any health benefits? Loved the practicality and taste review in the video but Im so curious if they even do half of the things they claim

@@Thiccems69 They exploit the therapists and also don't vet all the therapists they contract. One thing I personally hate is it makes it seem like your therapist will be available 24/7, which isn't realistic. Therapists are people who have/need boundaries, and similarly to professionals you see in real life, there is the expectation that your therapist isn't a 24/7 emergency hotline to call whenever. (Edit: Mickey Atkins here on UA-cam is a licensed therapist who has great videos but also has videos about BH that explain further the general stuff I'm mentioning)

@@luke.jaguar yes! there's a lot of complaints from people who have done counseling with bh that claimed the "professionals" that were supposed to help them weren't fit to do so, like counselors using the bathroom during the call, driving, acting shady af... there's so many horror stories about bh's services, it's honestly so shocking to me that people are still promoting them.
Andrew!! I used to work for a small company that got asked to use their product in one of these smoothies (miss Bella's) but it cost $20,000. Not in the start ups budget lol

Me literally thinking twice to get a $6 Starbucks drink, then later lying in bed regretting how I'm $6 poorer.
Today my husband and I woke up grumpy so we both got 2 bobas each and it was like $32 including a tip for 4 drinks and we were like yikes we are dumb 😂 but they were some killer drinks and it made my day a lot better.

it will taste close! I've done it because I am ok w/ cheaper brands of some of those ingredients as long as they are well sourced. Same ole thing...I would say maybe the sea moss might be worth the investment other than that stuff at like Sprouts or Tjs' will be just fine
If you want an actually good smoothie- the Costco triple berry one is fire.
1 cup Kirkland’s frozen 3 berry blend (the 3 berries are Raspberries, Blackberries, & Blueberries)
1 Banana
1/2 cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 cup Orange Juice
They definitely made the ingredients brand specific when the smoothies started trending on tik tok and people were making them at home. That way they are making money on the smoothies people make at home too

I wish you posted more often, but I'm always thankful when you do! I know a good time is going to be had!
I'd recommend freezing avocado pieces and not using too much in the smoothie, like maybe a quarter of one o so, it should add a thicker texture (and added nutrients) but shouldn't alter the taste. It's similar to adding frozen banana or ice cubes. That said, if you do like avocado things, Vietnamese avocado smoothies are yummy :) I hope you give those a try sometime!!

I visted L.A. people kept talking about Erewhon, I checked it out and really didnt think their prepared food looked that awesome or appetizing , the vibe in there was actually really off for me and yes I even felt judged by rude cashier only walked out w chocolate lol.

I'm in the states but literally califa is easily the worst almond milk ive ever had. now an oat milk girly but literally i tried it once and never again

LOL it said a 4th of an avocado, you put half. Avocado is usually put in smoothies to give you that soft velvet smoothie texture, same with bananas a lot of times. Putting less probably would've tasted better and achieved the same texture

I make two spinach smoothies a day. It has a cup and a half of spinach, a cup of frozen organic fruit (your choice. I recommend pineapple), water, a scoop of collegen and two TBLS of agave syrup. Yum.

my mom got me a woo woo canned cold brew vanilla latte as a treat on a road trip and i was really happy and interested bc it said it had mushroom and collagen HOWEVER, that collagen was like derived from pollock so it tasted like bitter fish water

My local regular grocery store has that brand of orange juice for like $4.99. I LOVE Malk, it is expensive but you can definitely find it for less than $8 even
