As someone who’s also failed at making vegan aioli I think the problem was having the blender at too high of a speed! Warms up the oil and causes it to separate. And you weren’t the only one that struggled with this recipe, turned out awesome though!

Whenever I cook rice paper bacon I just cook it in a pan - the direct heat from the stove versus the oven helps it to crisp up faster

Even when you cook real bacon in the oven it takes a long time and crisps up as it cools a bit and gets away from the bubbling oils. Using the parchment was a good idea and while stove top cooking might make it crisp faster it will be messy and splatter. I think you did a great job making this and as always I enjoy your videos. 💚

@@sammartell9756 Awww! 💜 I highly recommend oven cooked bacon for the omnivores out there, twisting it beforehand really helps it crisp but remain juicy. I have not tried it with veggie bacon yet but it might work too. Have a lovely day! 💚🌈💜🌷😎🐸

i love the way that i watch andrew's cooking videos just because i love watching him doing anything, not ever because i'll make whatever he's cooking, sometimes i even get lost in the process😁
Not supposed to be a read I promise but I like how you include things like “I’m just putting the tofu in the same bowl I had the marinade in because I’m just gonna add some marinade to it” because *some people* just watch these videos and feel like they have to mimic all of these separate bowls for ingredients that will just come together in the end, it’s smart and efficient cooking and new cooks don’t have all of those senses yet!

you can't really fry rice paper, it puffs up and shrivels in a few seconds when it hits hot oil

Me watching Andrew still grate the garlic cloves when he is using the blender he didn't really have to do that and still cuts his finger grating on top of it. Apart from all the lil mishaps it was tasty 👌👍
