I believe it’s more of a speech thing. The whole family avoids phrases such as “like” or “um” in interviews, tv, etc so they end up dragging their words out, then they can think of their next line without stalling with an informal phrase.
Idk, there’s something comforting about their speech to me. It forces my brain to slow down and actually process what they’re saying.

Hi Andrew, just wanted to recommend pomegranate juice. It's like chewing and spitting out a mouthful of the pomegranate seeds but without having to chew or spit.
It's pretty sour, tho, unlike fresh ripe pomegranate. But lots of ppl like the sourness!
To be fair, you can make a lot of vegan substitutes using soy instead of nuts. But if the kid is allergic to both soy and nuts, then yeah, return the kid, lol ;)

As someone who works in a busy restaurant, I think it's hilarious when people order their fries well done. They're dropping pounds and pounds of fries at a time in the fryer, they don't give a fuck about your handful of fries being well done lol

I know it's kind of repetitive but I really appreciate when you mention that you don't use the rest of an ingredient and you'll save it for something else. Growing up in poverty and food deserts, cooking as an adult is hard because theres so much guilt of waste, so I always strategically portion cooking ingredients too.
I totally agree. My parents luckily weren't poor but also not rich and we always saved leftovers and did something with them the next day. It's just so unnecessary to throw away food😢
