i have a 3000w 150a controller on 72v pushing a stock 1500w hub motor on my trike! on my 2 wheeler it was the same thing , only i upgraded the phase wires to handle more amps. mine hauls ass ! i have around $1500 in my trike build ( a fat tire 24" front and 20" rear ) , so he speaks the truth here. i've built several bikes and a couple of trikes off of amazon and ebay... all of them together is still less than the cost of one of those prebuilt "name brands" , it amazes me sometimes that ppl will shell out that kind of money , to NOT do the work or learn something! i'll post a vid on my build really soon , so as to offer inspiration to those on the fence. as he says , its not hard and it doesnt have to cost allot . keep up the GREAT WORK man! big fan!

Np I already have two builds using this controller way back in my archive somewhere on Frank and Super 73 build but you can definitely check this one out as well. I'm confident in this controllers reliability used it could times.
Do you have the same star rims I assume? The first couple mods will be with stock motor at some point I'm be upgrading to direct drive which I already have 20 inch fat tire rims with cheap Chinese direct drive and one with Qs205. you won't really need a qS unless your gonna go really far with upgrades the Chinese direct drives do almost just as good but I'm sure I won't be able to find a star rim direct drive motor
I wish you was doing this in a super 73 I want to add an aftermarket controller on my zx but all those wires on the controller just makes it seem so complicated whereas the super 73 controller is practically plug and play
brother I recently put that controller on my 500w bafang hub lmfao it gives bout 100-120nm torque now just at 48v. I am also gonna try it on my BBSHD soon. really good controller!

Hi, trying to replace the Rhino controller and wiring harness that got fried after battery upgrade from Zugo. What type of wiring harness did you buy or is it a diy modified fat 3 pin Bafang power cable?
I got rid of all the stock everything so all new wires couldn't do anything with those small factory wires even replaced the motor so new phase wires I trashed it all
These have been tried and tested its no will it work, it works I went thru several inexpensive controllers when I first started until I came up on this one My Zugo went 53mph they work on 72v Np
Bro that was a long time back and would be a 3-4hour video at least how much do you know about ebikes because you a rewiring the entire bike you have to cut all the connectors off the mor cables and everything thats a ful lconversion it can be done but no easy explanation or easy answer
