We have the same fleetwood model, and we pulled old carpet out and put down hardwood flooring made such a difference in getting rid of the old funky, musky smell.
I glued them down pretty good. It is pretty nice to have the floor continue into the cab when we are parked and the seats are turned around. It really feels like a living room.
Ours doesn’t have any rollers on the slide outs. Our flooring goes maybe 2-3 inches under the slide near the driver and a little more back near the rear of the mail slide. The one in the bedroom varies. It’s about 3 inches under near the front and back of the slide. But in the middle, the frame flares out and it’s only under about an inch.
So far it has done very well. The vinyl plank doesn't contain any wood pulp. It's all a synthetic material. So it is not supposed to expand or contract like traditional wood floors or even laminate flooring. We left a small space (about 1/8"-1/4") around the edges to allow it to float. But it has not buckled. Even with 2500 miles of traveling and lots of temperature changes.

Oh. My. Goodness. Isn’t that the truth!? There were multiple trips in and out of the RV to “cut off just a tiny bit more.” Augh! But I suppose it’s better than cutting off waaay too much and having to start over, right?🤷🏽♀️😄

It's coming along and looking great. I like the flooring. It looks great with the white and blue.
Very much enjoying your adventure (and sometimes misadventure). Great job kids... Enjoy your trip and I look forward to seeing more of your videos
You guys are doing exactly what I'll be doing. You're about 3 months ahead of me.
I would have tried to put vinyl like what’s used in trucks under the driver and passenger seats.

How far under the slide out did the plank flooring go? Did you notice if there were rollers under the slide. Keep up the good work.

I have the model was able to get under the slideout; it just takes a little work
One more question please, after installing the planks, what are your thoughts regarding temperature changes in the RV as well as movement?

Can you put a link to the type of flooring you used please?

Another annoying adage... I cut it off three times, and it's still too short!
