I bought a Bartzella after the price came down quite a bit. It bloomed a couple of years for me, but it eventually died out. I think I planted it in the wrong spot, as it never got very big. I decided there is enough variety in the herbaceous ones to just stick with growing those. I really appreciate watching this video as I'm sitting here near the end of March eager for the sunny and warmer weather to get here. By the way, does the wind ever stop blowing in MN?
Can you share the 5 peony breeders in MN? I would love to purchase some bare root peonies for my garden. I just love love love them! Thank you in advance.

Hi! I find it takes several years to get blooms again. This will vary by variety and the size of the division.
