When you started your gauge was in the Red. How did it all of the sudden go to the white

My compress turns on but my fan doesn't. I vacuumed the system, filled it correctly, but now even the A/C line gets cold. And ideas??

My ac cooling was less 1st day 3rd day completely lost and I went to ac filling guy wat he did is he removed complet gas and vacume and Florian gas.. and he just filled oil after tht ac gas was not in taking gas pressure was same bt ac was not able to fill wat would be the reason..

If you feel smell humedity or freon gas inside the cabin is the evaporador broken.

Just wanted to add incase anyone gets into this little issue if your low on refregerant on the Chevy cruze if you dont recharge for whatever reason know that everytime you turn on ac it will drain your battery and may give false readings that battery or alternator could be failing.

@5:00 I have a 2014 cruze 2nd owner and first time adding freon. Its blowing hot air and I never added any in 8 years so I assume it empty. it started blowing warmer air last summer.
Bought a bigger can with gauge followed exact direction and the needle is buried in the red. Is this normal or do i need to go get it serviced? no clue why the compressor or system would be faulty now.

@@Sabs761010 It is. Searched more on Google and YT and realized its out of freon. I still don't know why it would be in the red. I followed another video and let the pressure out which was like letting air out of a tire. No freon was coming out of the system into the atmosphere. The gauage needle now is down in the other direction, so this week i'm gonna buy that same can and fill it up till the green (not overcharge)and run the car and see if the compressor kicks on since it will not kick on being empty hence blowing hot air.
If that doesn't work then its off to my mechanic who said we'll do a vacuum and recharge of the system for $135 which i'm trying to avoid, but we';ll see.

one of those cans only has 340 grams of r134a. The 1.8L cruze should take 650 grams.
