  • CHIANG MAI, THAILAND - Let's go on a Doi Inthanon National Park day trip from Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park in Chiang Mai Province, which is the highest point in Thailand. For me, a day trip here is one of the best things to do in Chiang Mai and you could even stay the night at Doi Inthanon Mountain. I see an incredible waterfall, taste local Chiang Mai coffee, see the Doi Inthanon Twin Pagodas which are dedicated to the King and Queen of Thailand and finally trek a lovely nature trail. Overall, it was a fantastic day trip and a fun journey on the rental bike. The peak of Doi Inthanon sits at 2585m, it is The highest mountain in Thailand.

I'm stunned by the incredible beauty of Wachirathan Waterfall. The pure and beautiful nature of Doi Intanon makes the video clip memorable. Thanks for your hard work in producing such a great clip.

Such a beautiful place Joe. These videos have really opened my eyes to what I imagined Thailand to be compared to what it's really like.

There is far more to Thailand than the stereotype holiday and once you scratch that surface, it is incredible and super safe to go with it.

It looks like a rainy day but that makes everything beautifully green 💚. The waterfall is really spectacular, I hardly see any one this powerful. That nature trail at the end is also impressive.
I wish it wasn't the last video from your northern series but all good things must come to an end 🥹. Looking forward to your next journey 🥰.

Rainy season has its own charm. Sure you may not get the blue skies and perfect weather. But the lush green landscapes are stunning. The waterfalls are full and powerful. It is a magical season and sometimes preferable. Onwards to the next adventure :)

Joe. You end your Northern Thailand series impressively. The lush green of rice paddies, the mystical trail, the beautiful drone shot of the waterfalls are something to behold. Thank you for letting me "tagging along" on your journey. Looking forward to your discovery of the Southern Thailand. 🤗

yes! I am happy to pay more than a Thai resident, but the difference is crazy and this wasn't even the most expensive. I have been to some National Parks where foreigner price is 500 baht and Thai price is 20 baht. That is crazy! 100 baht and 20 baht... okay! I can accept that. but 500 baht and 20 baht is crazy. Still, I pay because I want to see.

At, Chiang Mai. Kangsadarn Waterfall is also beautiful. You can enter for free at the coffee shop or on the top of the mountain, there will be pine trees and you can see the Sakura mountain tree.

The world at large thinks they are free. They have never traveled. Did you party in pai ? Thats a fun place. I sure miss Thailand ... all of se asia to be fair.

That is simply the foreigner price for national parks. I like to think that it goes towards the upkeep and protection of the park.
