Steam Summer Sale 2024 Deals that I Recommend

- I'm genuinely baffled by some of these prices. Also, I'm tired of seeing Steam Deal videos that just list off the top sellers, so here's some games that I actually like!

Undertale is 2.47, which is incredibly cheap. I've already bought it for two people.
that sale was the reason i bought undertale, i never had undertale cuz lack of money and only 5 bucks on steam, so i decided to buy undertale and it was one of the best decisions of my life
Buying indies for your friends to get them into gaming has gotta be the best part of the sale honestly
Prices are a big barrier to entry that prevent a lot of people from even trying games, both of my sister's only ever watched me play and said they're too expensive but when I told them both Portals and Celeste are 90% off, they instantly got them
Can you buy it for me tho??
Have to say ill never feel like playing undertale because ive watched a full playthrough already. Also the moment to moment gameplay is hella not good enough to get me to play it, Celeste was pretty decent im doinh the B-sides currently and they made me hate the pachinko spheres.
Buy for me uwu
Celeste and stardew valley are two of my favorite games out there
Why celeste

I hear in grounded they have a Arachnophobia setting so you dont have to see or fight spiders anymore.
There are different levels of it, so the first level will just turn off the sounds and graphics for them, then the others remove more features from them, so the last level is a floating blob.
@@Bob-jh6xtyou americans are so sensitive
😂that’s some 🐱 behavior
The arachnophobia option makes them look even scarier imo
@@sxmbxdy fr, gonna make a mod that adds 1 trillion spiders when you turn on that setting
Spiritfarer is a very cozy game and is also on sale right now, ive played it on switch and got it now on pc highly recommend
It's such a good game! I love the music and the dialogues ❤
It’s really good!
Isn't that a Netflix game on mobile?
Love this game so much. Cried when I first played it, and have been itching to replay it
Only play Spiritfarer if you haven't cried in a while but feel like doing it.
I'm a bit late but the PORTAL BUNDLE is $1.48 DOLLARS. FOR BOTH PORTAL GAMES. (If this info is wrong I looked this up on steamdb and am not from the US, apologies)

Peakest of peak I bought it full price a week ago and my ass not even mad about it
just want to point out to anyone who reads this that the game was essentially stolen from its original devs, so a lot of people will recommend you pirate it, of course im not the moral police or anything you can buy it if you want, just feel like it is something potential buyers should be aware of.
@@rainesaysdie863 good point
That game seems really cool but didn’t the devs shout out Karl Marx in their acceptance speech? Kinda torn on whether or not to get it
@@FilthyTea I'm just as racist as possible in the game. My fascism score so far is 3 and I barely started. You can balance it that way ;)
But wow that's kinda cringe. I didn't know. It's pretty clear that game has a political bias, even though you have the choice to not follow it.
BloonsTD6 Is like $2 and it's THE best tower defence game out with tons of content and replayability
In my country it was Rp. 9000 (not even $1) 😂

@KDYinUA-cam Both have their pros and cons but BTD6 has much, much more replayability, which adds to the value for most people.
I expected some energetic twitch streamer voice yelling at me.
Sal's calming tones and gentle music have me whiplash.
While none of this helped me, I know these are great recs
FUN FACT
celeste for $2 is the best deal i ever could've found bought it the second i saw it and 25 hours into playing and i can say this is one of the best games ive ever played an absolute steal
3 dollars for battlefield 1 is more of a steal in my opinion
i cant beat chapter 8
@@Rzgar67 The mechanics in core are very different from the rest of the main game, which is actually one of the biggest gripes that the community has with the level overall. It might help if you watch some videos of other people playing the rooms you are struggling with. Sometimes in celeste it's really easy to keep making the same mistake over and over again without even realising that you're doing anything wrong, especially in core.
Also, if you haven't already, it might help to go and play some of the earlier B-sides like 1B and 2B. Those 2 can probably be considered a little easier than core, and I'd say that 2B is the easiest out of the three. It'll help to play with the mechanics that you already know and understand, and any practice will increase your skill overall.
This sale is insane. D̶i̶s̶c̶o̶ ̶E̶l̶y̶s̶i̶u̶m̶, Total War Shogun 2, Batman Arkham Knight, Celeste, Frostpunk, Euro Truck Simulator 2, The Witcher 3, Arma 3, Prison Architect, Castle Crashers & Aseeto Corsa 90% off. Shadow of War & Civilization VI are even 95% off.
Slay the Princess is currently 25% off, the best discount it’s going to get this year (will get 20% with the release of the Pristine Cut). It’s a psychological horror visual novel with a great story that can be experienced multiple ways and gorgeous artwork, as well as phenomenal performances by Jonathan Sims and Nicole Goodnight. The Pristine Cut will add more to what’s already a pretty meaty game come fall, but the price it’s being sold at now is lower and the PC will be added for free.
Scarlet Hollow by the same creators is also 25% off. Haven’t played it, but heard a lot of good things about it. You can also get both games for 36% off if you bundle them together.
The only thing I know of the first one is from a clip with *The Look*
@@ДмитрийОсипов-м9д you should definitely buy the game, it is peak.
The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Arkham knight are like 3 bucks rn.
PlayStation had a deal a few months back where you could buy the entire Arkham series for like under 20 bucks

You can get both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War for like 6 bucks combined with all DLC. Similar combat mechanics to the Arkham series and its LOTR.
witcher 3 is so good, if you ain't got it yet, grab it! enjoooooooy

seconding that Celeste recommendation! I think it's also worth mentioning that the Celeste modding/mapping community is pretty active and there's a good number of custom maps out there that match or even surpass the quality of the game's own levels, so you're getting even more than you'd expect out of that $2
and honestly just the Strawberry Jam mod alone is enough to make it worth buying even if you already own Celeste on console
i would agree, I bought celeste on pc after doing everything in it on console and it was worth it for the SJ mod alone, and there are plenty of maps out there, you can also easily make your own.

Something I'd recommend is the Yogscast Games Supporters' Bundle. It lets you get Helheim Hassle, a hilarious game that is $19.99 at full price, for $1.20 rather then $1.99 which is what you would pay if you got it by itself.

I just bought celeste yesterday and it's very fun.

@climless Lmao dude, every 1.X update they've release has had at least double the content of Terraria's 1.0 release.
@@Sivanotbut it’s still the same game that people already own??
There are way too many games I would recommend people to buy so I will give a few from different genres.
Platformer: Please if you haven't tried Celeste and like 2D platformers give it a shot.
Metroidvania: Hollow Knight has incredible combat, visuals, and music.
Tower Defense: Bloons TD is the greatest TD game to ever be released with so much praise everywhere.
Roguelites/likes: Slay the Spire, Risk of Rain 2, Hades, and Inscryption are all games I couldn't recommend enough.
AAA Games: Baldur's Gate 3 is one of the most ambitious games ever made and my personal favorite game of all time (I love D&D and the amount of options this game gives you is insane). Elden Ring is a masterpiece in almost all senses; the world was built with the help of George R.R. Martin arguably the greatest fantasy author of all time with inspiration from the likes of the manga Berserk it has incredible boss design, builds, an absolutely beautiful world and is a must play. Finally, the Witcher 3 I'm not going to lie I wasn't the biggest fan of the combat in this game, but the story and world are almost second to none and for $4 it's an absolute steal.
Overall, I have completed all the games on this list with almost over 50 hours in all of these games (except Inscryption which is a one-time experience for me). And I would recommend all of them especially Baldur's Gate 3 as I truly believe that game is special. You can play it with friends or alone and have an absolute blast either way. I have over 400 hours on the game and I don't think I had a single bad memory during all this time, whether it was trolling with my friends (we did a run where we tried to be the worst people possible), or just trying to seriously play through please try that game if it's up your alley.
Baldurs Gate is not by a AAA game btw, it's an indie studio; located in my homecity even.
@@m1bl4n Mb I was told this so many time and I always forget because the game itself is higher than triple A quality but yeah Larian is technically an indie.
Baldur's Gate 3 kinda overrated, nothing worse than top down view games and turn based combat, shit is awful, if it wasn't like that it'd truly be a AAA game.
you cant forget monster hunter, which also has a 20th anniversary deal going on. 2 big AAA games in a bundle for well under 20 dollars is crazy cheap.
@@andreamaral9725 Bro it's a CRPG...
I bought céleste since it was my birthday (10th july) and i didn't realised it was 2€, nice save
Disco Elysium is 90% off and Crosscode is 70% off, I'd recommend both highly.
Except you should pirate DE because the game is currently owned by corporate thieves
@Explosivevortex From what I understand it's a minority of people who got fucked over. Piracy is a personal choice but missing out on the game would be a travesty. Not wanting to spend 5 bucks because a few people got screwed over by a company? Your choice of course but that shit happens every day and the majority of people who worked on the game are still around.

Disco Elysium for 90% off is also a nobrainer.
Borderlands 2, both half life ganes, and the master cheif collection (Halo 1-4) all add up to 15$ which is insane
Yo there's a ton more games I'd absolutely pick up. Borderlands 2, undertale, terraria, the escapists 2, etc just to name a few great ones. All of them are really cheap atm
Skull girls 2nd encore is also 90% off right now costing 2.89$ for the amount of content thats super worth
Finally I can make my friend buy stardew😈
I got all the witcher games including DLCs, Stray, Assetto Corsa, Black Ops 3 Zombies Deluxe, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Great deals all of them. Was thinking of getting Dragon's Dogma 2, but after playing the free trial I'm not paying over $30 for it.

Portal and portal 2 are 1$ each
it might not be everyone's thing, but monster hunter has some crazy sales right now, 75% off for MH rise and 67% off for world, on top of 20th anniversary sales that drop the price even more if youre buying multiple games. monster hunter world and rise for well under 20 dollars is insanely cheap. those are big AAA games that are incredibly fun.
also doom's franchise bundle gets you all the main doom games for roughly 25 dollars, which is a damn good deal for 6 games, 2 of which being GOTY contenders. (and eternal shouldve won, ngl)
Dont Starve Together is an absolute steal currently as well
Sekiro is also half off. It"a $45, but that means you save $45, and it was also a game of the year if I'm not mistaken.
Pandora's box (the entire borderlands franchise) is normally like $600+ but is going for around $55, ABSOLUTE STEAL!
Games i bought during 2024 steam summer sale:
Assetto corsa (with porsche season pack) 2$ for base game and like 5$ for the pack
Euro truck sim 2, 2$

Celeste (already had it on xbox but couldnt say no to 2$)
Castle crashers≈ 1.5$
Far Cry 5, 5$

Let's not forget both portal games for like a dollar each, and the orange box pack is also dirt cheap
Humble Bundle is giving out a bundle including Rivals of Aether, Celeste, and 6 others for only $10
also, hollow knight (including all the dlcs and the soundtrack) costs just 3.50$, that and celeste's price are just unreal
If you like puzzle games, Evergarden has a 75% sale and is now €2,43
i bought celeste after everybody wouldn't stop talking about how good of a deal this discount is and... yeah, it's amazing, i'm not that far in it and it's already beating my ass with it's difficulty but i'm having a ton of fun with it, the mechanics are tight, the pixel art is gorgeous and the story is pretty good too. Would reccomend
When you finish it (if you haven't already i mean 1 day is enough to beat it atleast base game) go watch Merg, dont just watch his celeste content,EMBRACE OUR ONE AND ONLY MESSIAH,MERG.
When you beated the game, came back and try the first level again. You would be suprise how much you improve and how much easy it was.
I tried it and it blown my mind how much my skill have improved at platformer.
And yeah it skill transfer really well to other game because of how simple and "smooth it is?" (I'm not sure how to describe it).
Also I've a suggestion: Try out Rain World and watch a youtuber review the game first because game journalist really hate this game because they cannot speedrun the game and make a review to compete with other game journalist.
Rain World reward you for taking your time and enjoy it, the game is never about the ending but alway the journey so you don't have to rush to get an ending alway take your time and explore what the game offer you.
About the game? Well, youtuber cover everything I can tell so go watch it and decided on if you want to buy and play it or not.
