Thank you for taking the time to share this. There are so little good quality fly videos on UA-cam, thanks for adding to the fold of great videos that is a must to watch!
OUTSTANDING!!! Thanks for sharing this fly. I'm a relatively new tyer and love learning from your videos, the different uses of materials, and tying tips.
Hi Davie, just watched your video, at the start you said the hook you were using was a kamasan b175, I don’t know if it was the camera angle but it looks more like a b160, doesn’t take away the beauty of the fly. Cheers Jimf.
Hi Jim, I know it does looks like it's tyed on a B160, the reason is down to it being old footage and filmed on a setting which no longer fits the wide image we get now..I should film it again as it is a good pattern as you said.. All the very best Davie
Hi Davie, Thanks for this, its a great fly on the river slaney for sea trout and grilse and salmon from july onwards , its my secret weapon, and a fly I don't tell many others about, I tie it on a size 8 single salmon hook, its deadly when there is a small colour in the water

Awesome fly, like every other one you post. Are this style of fly meant to be fished on the swing, stripped or in the style of a nymph?
