Hi Ms. Parrot. Thanks so much for the informative video. I have one question. What is the minimum required traits on each number? I am currently doing a classification key for a moss genus and I was told by my peers that at least two traits are required for each number. Hope you can advice. Thanks
I have never heard that you must have two traits for each number, but if that is what your teacher or professor is expecting from you, then you should do that if it is for an assignment. Perhaps what they mean by two traits is that instead of the "Has/does not have" model, you could use wording like "1a Has smooth edges; 1b Has rough edges." I would double check with your teacher just to be sure.
