My voice changes everytime when I feel shy and my eyes are sweating. Kinda like I'm about to cry.
@austene Tucker oh... I'm alrdy done with my reporting about 3 or 2 weeks ago. During my reporting, my voice kinda change and my mouth are shaking while I'm talking and u know whT? I literally explain it very fast just to finish my report. My body are shaking too especially my legs.
But hey, after I finished, I felt a bit of confidence because i did it plus my teacher said "very good".
Keep on mind that your explanation should be good and that's it!
After that day, we have another reporting too but it was on grouping and all of us are going to report and know what? My shyness level lowered and my confidence boost! I feel like i want to report every single day.
You can improve your public speaking by doing reports often so don't stress out yourself about "what will happen?" and abt your shyness.
same the class was laugh at me because they says when i do presentation my sound just like want to cry 😭😭😭😭
Same hereee
Ikr I feel like I’m fainted and sweating I just want to kill my self every time I present
Same heree 😭 my voice gets deeper whenever I present
I didnt even notice that the video was made 11 years ago. It really shows the quality, time and effort that was put into this. AND how it keeps helping others even to this day. Marvelous. Thank you for this piece of gold.
Me too😮
Omg the same thing 😦
Editing videos was harder then
bros acting like 2013 is 2000
@@xbangbangx I was thinking about it too lmao, fym quality???
When I do presentations, something funny pops up in my head, so I just start laughing like an idiot in front of the audience.
🤣😄
@iiaesthetic_gurlii shut up
🤣🤣🤣 bro im imagining this this was too funny
@iilxlies - on break for 2 more days how the hell do you even say your name
AHAHSJAJSJSC
Truth! A speech with clear slides, strong posture, etc. is much more professional and will get you better results/grades.
Whenever I give a presentation, I always say things like "umm" or "so" and sometimes, i even forget what I was going ot say (yes, even though I've practiced multiple times) any tips?
@@cestlavie490 same here i do practise more and more even though i can't take anything from my hard work😓😓
@@cestlavie490 Try to get out of the habit of saying "um" and "uh" because those two phrases will make you sound nervous and it will make you forget what you have to say. I stopped saying those words and it helped a lot. I feel confident now.
my problem is MY VOICE! they say I'm whispering but I feel I'm already shouting.
me too😭
Have you ever tried recording yourself? I found it very usefull. Keep on trying untill you get to the point your every video is sounding nice and clear.
jay fawn same😿😿😿😭😭😭😭
jay fawn same af idk why should i do
Bts Exo Got7 i think we ain't use to hearing ourselves.
It’s my first year of university. A few weeks I go I had a group presentation where everything I had to stay was changed 30 MINUTES BEFORE I HAD TO PRESENT. as a person with anxiety, I was terrified because I did not practice the new parts. I ended up silent during the presentation and told my prof to give me a minute. I sat behind a desk and cried my eyes out until someone took me out of the class...
I have my second and final presentation tomorrow. wish me luck
How did it go?
Hopefully, you never saw that class ever again haha.
gosh bro even im not that bad,i hope your presentation goes well, try to get abgry at the teacher for forcing this on you,be like: im not going to let this teacher cause me to embarass myself😠
this happened to me before too!! hell it was very embarrassing! But you know what? Just keep pushing yourself to go out of your comfort zone because it will help you overcome with your anxiety, although i still have anxiety when i face people while presenting in class i always keep thinking that im doing my best and that's enough, as long as we've done something we never thought we'll do! just keep going tho i absolutely know hoe you might've feel that time it's a nightmare 😭
OMG HOW DID IT GO i have anxiety & i take AP seminar this august for the credit & i'm so scared.. i'm gonna practice presenting this summer
I hate speaking publicly in front of my class and presenting, but after my presentation about school uniforms, everyone laughed and they loved it. I’m a person who likes to be comedic, and loves adding humor into all of my projects and whatever I do in school. It feels great to make my class laugh, yet still acing the project!
In my life, *humor is key* 💀
Much love Mate
*faints while presenting*
Bicep Brah hahahahahaha
AHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHH
hahahhahahah
Same....
Ooh yeah
1. I HATE PUBLIC SPEAKING BC MY MIND GOES BLANK 2. I HAVE TO PRESENT IN FRONT OF MY CRUSH 😰😰
Dude I did oral presentation on school today about Meteor and asteroid. Trust me it's not as bad as you think, the more you think deep about what's going happen in your presentation like messing up or get an F which you won't of course so just don't think about it and if do think it positively because like k said not as bad as you think. good luck sir and have a great day !
cushn`t
@@micograal182 thank you so much
Omg me too!! It's so annoying that ur crush is there😨❤️
You can , because of your 2.point
Thank you all for sharing the video!
Hussain Shafei
oww thnx i hope it will help me coz um gonna give ma first presentation tomorrow😎
Hussain Shafei my problem is my nervousness an my shyness.
powerpoint or paper?
Im from 2022
It's been a 10 years bro
My classmates used to laugh at me and mock me for using my hands when I’m presenting or reporting. I think they never heard of body language 😂 Thank you for creating this video!
I bet they also mocked you for memorizing what you have to say and not to read your notes
i swear they will mimicking you when they start to talk to you right ?
@@reversethename relatable 😂😂
I have anxiety,i have low voice,if i speak loud my voice will crack,i feel like im screaming,i suck at explaining,im not fond with public speaking,i get mental block if someone asks me a question through report, and Im shy
I feel you 😭😭😭😭
@Joy Raguine true, statistics show people are more afraid of public speaking than then death.
I hate it when they clap for everybody except for you 😔, I’d honestly rather be shot than to have that feeling of disappointment.
Same here :(
Same here
Every time i have to present my palms get sweaty, knees weak, arms get heavy.
My voice is lost already. I'm nervous.
But on the surface he looks calm and ready, to drop bombs but he keeps on forgetting what he wrote down, the whole crowds gets so loud
He opens his mouth but the words won't come out
Hahaha I feel that all the time
MrPerser do u also eat ur moms spaghetti?
Look, if you had mom's spaghetti,
Would you capture it or just let it slip?
Yo
His palms spaghetti, knees weak, arms spaghetti
There's vomit on his sweater spaghetti, mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm spaghetti to drop bombs,
But he keeps on spaghetti what he wrote down,
The whole crowd goes spaghetti
He opens his mouth, but spaghetti won't come out
He's choking how, everybody's joking now
Spaghetti run out, time's up, over, bloah!
Snap back to spaghetti, Oh there goes spaghetti
Oh, there goes spaghetti, bloah
He's so mad, but he won't give up spaghetti, no.
I really hate doing presentations
It funny how I’m seeing this a week before my presentation. Like it randomly popped up. Beautiful
Its been 11 years but still helpful as ever. I declare this a masterpiece 👏
This is a very brief, simple and effective video - well done! It covers the most important rules of presentations in a humorous way. It feels very universal: meaning to me that it may appeal to a wide variety of cultures, and will translate well in many contexts because it shows what you want to convey rather than relying on a talking head. My Advanced Adult ESL class loved it. I only wish you did more. Best of luck.
Thank for all the bad idea i’ll practice all of those.
When I did my seminar, suddenly I saw my friend's face then I started to laugh for abt 2 mins, the whole class was laughing. When I completed my turn. They told that I was keeping them awake by laughing and the class was interesting. I can't forget that.
I have to present in front of 30 people for a huge presentation in about 1 hour. It’s worth a lot of my grade wish me luck :)
Edit: it went great I got an A
Fr?
Thank you so much! Having a huge presentation in 2 days and I’m really nervous, but after reading this it makes me feel a bit more comfortable.
@@elxgant1621 How did you get done?
IT WAS SO LONG AGO BUT CONGRATTT
Sheesh I have to present in front of 50
i think i’m an introverted person but i want to become a teacher that’s why, i’m doing my best to be good and confident speaking in public.
Same
I'm introverted and I feel I have a phobia of fear of being centered on attention
If we answer our phone in class :/ we are dead
Love this! Simple, yet direct and clear. I will definitely be using this with my students.
Awesome! The bad examples had me laughing lol
Me too 😂
I'm just got in college as freshman and I got shocked that I'm super nervous presenting in class but I was not like that in high school. I feel scared to go to school
The presentation is skill. it needs more practice . if someone today told you this is how to drive . can you drive a car because someone told you and you did not practice it? No.everyone should do a lot of presentation , try it one you are in your home every day 1 hour. I can assure for you after one month you will do a good presentation.
This is always one of the videos I show when giving my students tips on how to give presentations. Good work.
This is Brilliant! I am going to show it to my high school students so they can see clearly what NOT to do, as I have told them countless of times. Thanks
Really awesome video!! I showed this to my middle school students, you've done a great job clearly showing what to do and what not to do. Thanks for making this.
Really useful intro into good and bad presentations for my ESL students- Thank you!
Very helpful video, very good for those that have never done an oral presentation.
I also want to add to the bad presentations, to say long sentences: always short and clear phrases
Hassain, this video is awesome. I am showing your video to illustrate to my students how conduct themselves during their presentations. It is marvelous how you illustrate in detail the dos and don'ts. Your video is well received by my students.
Thanks for sharing this video, I use it in my lessons to show the difference between bad and good presentations. Simple but meaningful video.
This is so accurate. I was like this before but now I am more confident of myself and managed to be better in reporting.
As an educator, I found this to be very helpful for my 7/8th graders. Thank You!
Good video man. It's a good intro to show my middle school students.
What if you're super nervous and ramble on and on aha
+Neylena try it . one day you will do a good presentation.
my voice n body shakes when i present cause im nervous
Hawkie 22 Same! and i mumble really bad too!
when its happens take a long breath .its control the nervousness .
i get flipping tongue tied
I never noticed that this video is 11 years old ... I just can see the hard effort put into this video . This is a two minute video but i'm sure this video may have taken several hours to record... A brilliant video is always beautiful.
Thank you for all the tips....Can't wait to ignore these and get nervous and ruin the presentation🤩
So basically be confident and know your shit
I have been showing this video to all my classes in Taiwan for two years now. Excellent!
Pro tip for not feeling nervous: most people are too scared to speak publicly themselves and are not great public speakers 😂 i always remembered that and it has given me a lifetime of confidence
The background music added to that motivating impact feeling. We'll be having a research defense this year, this will help me to be more confident, geezzh. Im hella nervous though.
I have a presentation to do next week in front of the whole school (about 1000 people) and I feel like puking every time I think about it...any tips on how to keep calm/confident?
+OMGPandaz thanks! I think I did ok :)
just keep drumming
Josh Dun i too have my presentation and i too feel very nervous plzz suggest some ideas to be confident😢😢
How'd it go?
You still alive?
I am a shy to do it 😭😱
+Fatima F It's just your classmates! No need to be shy :)
+DakeR it's true 😅😅
im shy and ik mt class mates but whenever i go up n present my voice gets shakey and legs too
Me too
Fatima Heaven same
yooo! this vid just appeared on my recommendation, thankyou i need it for our presentantion tomorrow!. wish me luck.
This is awesome and so well put together. Thank you. I'm using it to educate my home schooled elementary aged daughter on how to give presentations.
I will do presentation next week.
I'm scared because I'm not confident about my English😫
I can teach you just add me up now on whatsapp +19842010827
Thanks so much for your video. I showed it to my students (secondary school) in Amsterdam, Holland. They liked it! :)
I remember my last presentation to a group for online school.
I had to share a picture of my presentation with them since I just couldn't talk...
I have to present to another group next week. Great😀👍
I'm in 7th grade and I have a Math Seminar in about 2 days. I'm very nervous since I have to present in front of 100-150 students(the whole 8th grade) but glad I have teammates to help. Thankyou for this video it really helped!
I"m an English teacher and I will use this tomorrow to teach my students! Thanks so much!
Rebekah Nash omg ms nash wassssupp
Rebekah Nash MRS NASH I USED TO BE IN UR CLASS
MRS NASH OMG
I feel insecure to stand out in public.
This is what I've been looking for! Thank you very much.
Great video. Love these short to the point videos
Why am I watching this at fucking 3 am with school tomorrow
This is amazing it really helped me :)
my English teacher sent us this so we can present better in english, i have no problem watching a video from 11 years ago.
Hussain, your video is great! I am going to show it to my students! Thanks a million!
I lose my voice when I start speaking and feel like burning up
I have a monotone voice and lack of body language i need help
do practise for body language..
Exactly what I needed, UA-cam must be spying on me
Oldie but goodie. Thank you, such strong points!!!
I have no idea why this made me laugh 😂
But this was really really helpful 😌
Thank you!!! This is perfect to show to my students. It highlighted all the points I try to emphasize!
Awesome video!!
Very true. Will keep this in mind. :)
This is very intriguing!
Thanks so much and God bless you for sharing this
god how i wish i can do that but whenever i'm going in front my heart was about to explode in any minute because i felt nervous especially when my classmates are looking at me..
Am I the only one that actually LOVES public speaking....you get to voice your opinion and have everyone listening!!!
I would love to love public speaking heh, though I stutter and fear speaking. I don't have social anxiety. If I wouldn't have had this stutter I think I wouldn't mind public speaking at all
if i didn't have a monotone-ish or stuttering voice, I would not mind doing presentations at all. My voice is the problem! I don't have the perfect American accent and when i pronounce words, it sounds different.
Excellent, short and to the point, will use this for my ESL class
Thanks, well done. The only point I would question is the handouts. Sometimes your audience can be distracted by them if you hand them out at the start. If you must hand something out at the start, make sure it is very simple. I would prefer overall to leave handouts till the end as a 'take-away'.
Well done Husain! You will be seen by all my pupils next week in class as a reminder on how to effectively do an attractive presentation. Your movie is clear, no-nonsense, non chatty, to the point! Kind regards, Clara B. Scotland.
Who is watching this instead of practicing it...
I'm a highschool student and I watched this before my presentation. Now I'm a drop-out
thank you. this is exactly the kind of content I like, brief and useful, I've applied your tips they helped me a lot .
1:02 his pose ....😂😂
All the best for your presentation guys😅😂
Thank u😅
Excellent video! It is exaclty what I was looking for to show my students! THANK YOU!
Well-done, young man! I also enjoyed your use of music toward the end.
1:56 "Use clear text and diagrams for slides"
**Proceeds to show white small texts on yellow background*
Also be well prepared just in case if you mess up but in my opinion don’t be too prepare or else you might forget. Just be prepare and be confident remember “that your audience is made up of humans just like you.” Also my teacher say shake you hands or do jump n jacks to get rid of extra adrenaline. Drink water to be hydrated but not too much. Also be careful with body language.

Please NEVER delete it.
Dude. Thanks for this. My classes will appreciate it today.
Basic step number one: have a large weapon on you at all times so the audience feels intimidated by your presence, as you can annihilate them at any moment.
This is short, yet very helpful. Thanks for posting this!
Who else is doing a report tomorrow in class lmao
Best video on quick tips for a presentation I have seen so far...
Good
Simple Video but Awesome
Idk but I'm laughing on the bad examples HAHAHAHA I could definitely relate lol
I saw them, I saw in their eyes judging me the way I explain it.
I feel you, every time I do a presentation I can just see in my classmates eyes that they’re saying “Holy shit this presentation is bad” in their head.
Thanks for making this! I'm showing it to my high school students for presentation skills
I'm a speech and drama teacher. Very good resource. Thanks for sharing.
whenever i present a speech of some sort in front of the class i always have this feeling that everyones gonna laugh cus i messed up
Same 💀
Its been 10 years, how are you?
When im going to present in friday, im gonna remeber this video, thank you so much for help. I am not that nervous anymore 🙏 😊
This video 10 years before takedown but it's till useful to many student and professional. Education is power
this literally me because of social anxiety
I have high anxiety when I’m gonna present in front of my class. I stutter a lot my body always shakes then I start to laugh a lot
Thanks, dude. I have to present this project we did and I reaaally don't want a bad grade. Super helpful! :)
Thanks for sharing this. It's really clear and I'm going to show it to my students.
My problem is I forgot main points... While watching my audience😟
Best thing to do for that are index cards. Have an index card, a small one to write your main ideas of your presentstion in a chronological orders. In each of those main idea you should have a deep understanding and knowledge and even just a little bit of script to explain those ideas. This what I do and I ace the presentation everytime
