here are the steps on how to manually program a DSE 4520 controller through the front panel:
Make sure that the DSE 4520 is turned off.
Press and hold the Menu button until the Programming menu appears.
Use the Up and Down buttons to select the parameter that you want to program.
Use the Enter button to change the value of the parameter.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all of the parameters that you want to program.
Press and hold the Menu button to exit the programming menu.
Turn on the DSE 4520.
The changes that you made will be saved to the DSE 4520's memory.
Here are some of the parameters that you can program on a DSE 4520:
Start and stop settings
Battery monitoring settings
Load control settings
Fault reporting settings
For more information on how to program a DSE 4520, please refer to the DSE 4520 Operator Manual.
Here are some additional tips for programming a DSE 4520:
Be careful not to change any parameters that you are not familiar with.
If you make a mistake, you can always restore the DSE 4520 to its factory settings by pressing and holding the Reset button for 10 seconds.

Hello do you change parameters while generator is running?
Thank you from Ethiopia. I faced a problem that the generator shuts down in 10 seconds by displaying low oil pressure alarm on the screen. Oil is changed and its level is okay, oil viscosity is okay, oil pressure sendor is okay. The generator is new, run only 65 hours. The generator type is perkins 45KVA and the controller is DSE4520. Please help me!

We had same issue with a 150kVA Perkin generator in Pakistan at around 1050 hrs. We changed the oil pressure sensor but it didn't fix the issue. We replaced this control panel with a new unit, and the issue resolved.
