So sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad in 2021 then my brother 2 months later. It was a sad year. Sewing is my salvation. Thank you for your videos. Three goals a day is a great idea.

I love your thoughts on mini goals-making them attainable each day! That is how things get accomplished. Looking at the whole can be so daunting.
I like to break my project in to smaller pieces so I can see those mini goals are easier to see.

I'm so sorry for your loss too. I see my dad in much of my work, he was very encouraging when I first started out. His mom was a designer growing up so he loved that I followed in her footsteps. My dad actually taught my mom to sew, who then taught me, it was a family tradition and so I think of him often. Thank you for stopping by to say something
You look so great!! I was so shocked when you talked about last year 😮. You have inspired me to start writing attainable goals. I actually have done 1 already. I signed up for dance classes! I start cha cha lessons next week 😊😊.
Thank you and yes, last year sucked but it has formed me into the person I am today and I really like me more and more each day. I LOVE that you signed up for a dance class. Back after my divorce in the summer I signed up for a dance class, I enjoyed it so much. HAVE FUN!!
Wishing you all the best in 2024! I am working on another goal. I have had a Autube channel for a while now that has been pretty much a blank slate. Tonight my first viedo uploads at 8pm ET. I also follow @Arkansasgals - Andrea is a quilter as well and she said "just do it"! LOL so I did it!

I am a part of a 12 month UFO group. We meet every month to share. If someone is looking for fabric second hand stores are a great place to shop. Clothes are fabric they can be cut apart and reused. Great way to save $.
That is awesome! Thrift stores are a great place for fabric. We went to a thrift store yesterday, my daughter prefers them to the mall or new (which I love) and we saw a rack of 1940-50's hankies that were just lovely. I almost bought a few just to have to upcycle into something new.
