WOO, love Blackbird Raum. Their older stuff always fills me with such passion and I'm so glad that they're still going.
I remember seeing them in Riverside in 2010 maybe it was at an infoshop that was so radical and I was 16 years old and a volunteer at the space. This was one of my top 5 favorite bands and the band members were so sweet when I met them. I got a shirt from them and I remember all of the train hoppers came to see them, it was so rad. It's so healing to know they're making more music during a time where I'm healing my inner child at 28 and getting into art and music. A tear fell down my eye when I saw this clip on ig and it was definitely a happy tear from my inner child. Healing and recovery is so sweet even when its not and I'm so thankful to our talented artists who help us assist our journey. No matter what it may be. Even if they don't know it.
i can so relate to what you said, even though im from a completely different part of the world (malta, europe). brought them over to malta while touring europoe in 2011 (i think) BBR was and still is so fucking important to me and my healing journey too. much love!

I believe CPN is the only original member, the one on the far right on washboard has played for the band a while. This might be just people in NOLA because before they were based in Santa Cruz CA
