Small lips won’t get this effect. So either you get injections too or you’re born with plumped lips already. This method doesn’t make your lips look bigger. It just makes them look prettier.

My style was a mix between the two, and letting my hair grow out Its now 34 inches For me, tinted moisturisers, CC and BB creams was ideal for me who doesnt want a ton of foundation, a good blush, concealer and coloring my brows and lashes so I can fill the brows out so they look full yet natural, and adding mascara/some days lashes depending on the mood *Hope you find you, one tomboy from another*🌷

The extra highlight creates contrast/dimension, it brings the plumper high points forward, Similar to the effect of adding a white line of paint to a doll’s lip so it catches the light
If I don’t have clear lip gloss I just add a little bit of highlighter to my bottom lip in the middle-ish (not too much) and it gives it a cool effect lol
I've been doing this for years now I got the most beautiful two pan eyeshadow/highlight in an ipsy bag believe it or not and I don't wear highlight because I have a natural highlight that I love so I used it around my lips and yes ma'am stunning
This makes your lips look like you’ve had a lot of filler rather than naturally full because usually only injected lips that are the fullest right at the edge ( where it’s highlighted). Natural lips would be fuller towards the centre so maybe highlight there instead.
I don't think the goal is for the lips to look bigger here but just to have a nice glossy look. I will try this ( even though my lips are extra slam haha )

How do you guys avoid that lipstick getting on your lip gloss applicator like in my case all the time whenever I try to apply lip gloss on lipstick it comes on my applicator and then my transparent lipgloss color changes

The idea is to highlight only certain areas of the lips, like when you draw, to bring attention to them, rather than outlining the whole lip, kinda defeats the purpose 😭

Only need to apply highlighter on the cupids and the middle of the bottom lip, over lines slightly ❤
I like that there’s no harsh border showing with this technique, like it’s almost hard to determine where your lips begin or end. V Juicy.

It basically created a fuller looking vermillion border, which is what happens when you get bad filler or overdo it. Basically a filler moustache.
